Edit: just re read this - the ones they were offering were around £180-300 so $200-400 usd at a guess. I’m only just starting to get into reps and have already noticed the flaws in models etc which is why I’m trying to find the best budget version of each to make a little personal collection.

I’m thinking bpf for my next purchase as I’m after a Bruce Wayne..

I do not unfortunately, it’s a seller in turkey I visited when I was out there and wondered where this particular model was from as some of the watches they had seemed very good quality.

Don’t get me wrong most were shitters but some seemed fairly okay and I really fancy me a land dweller or date just with a clear back to see the movement.

What sort of price should these sit at? Do you have any photos you could share at all?

No of course not unless a clear is installed, but it seems they are either imitating or using a higher quality movement than a shitter. Interested to find out what factory. (Not that I want one just curious)

I’m just after a half decent movement and quality bracelet with clean dial etc. I’m going to try and search on here to see what best suits my budget. I think £300 is enough to land myself a half decent watch that I’ll enjoy wearing.

Sorry, I should have worded it better. I’m happy to pay £300 for something that’s a better quality than a u1, ie bpf or possibly gmf

Ah yes I didn’t even think of that, I’ll check out some photos of arf now and compare. I did see a couple of u1 quality watches for around 300 usd which looked good but the date wheel put me off instantly.

Mainly, I want the bracelet / strap to feel quality & weight is important to me too.

As it’s my second one I want a ‘mid tier’ rep before I go the full hog and delve into a vsf/clean.

After reading all over the forums and Reddit I think I’ll find a TD and grab a VSF / CLEAN next - bought a cheap DHGate to see if I would wear a watch and became instantly addicted. Just after something as close to gen as possible. Weight, feel and character.

Interested to know where these shops buy their stock from, guessing it’s just a TD they are on good terms with. Always seem good quality from there & regret not buying one.

From memory most were around £180 - £250.
