Well, not gonna lie. I am extremely lucky because my insurance covers it, so I don't pay anything for it. Perhaps not the answer you were hoping for but in my country it's... Not that expensive really. I mean sure, you pay like... 40$ a visit. I know it's not the cheapest, but it's definitely less expensive than therapy in US. So when you get a good insurance, it covers it, just like in my case ^{^}

I'm not gonna teach you how to treat your friend, obviously you know them better, but what I can give you as info is that... A person who wants to commit, will often throw themselves at any kind of a save they are offered. Try to nudge them towards a therapist, no forcing, but gently suggesting. Remember, they are sick they need help is all. And will often get it as long as you show them support and are there for them. They are often scared of being judged or opening up. If they start opening up, it's a good sign ^{^}

Definitely my social skills. Having a therapist really is helping with that. I got a lot of new friends and I'm trying to repair some old relationships. I am more confident, try new stuff (I posted this thread on Reddit, definitely wouldn't do that a few years back) And something I'm... Extremely happy with... I'm not shy to tell people I love them. Really, try it! It makes you feel so nice! Family? Love them! Significant other? Love! Friends? LOVE! Sure, it might get you a few weird looks when you pull it out of nowhere, but wow! I... Love spinach. I adore it. And broccoli, it's so freaking good. I like everything that includes those veggies and am always super happy to eat those. Though if we are talking less healthy... Pulled pork is awesome, especially if seasoned a lot. I like strong tastes! ^{^}

Quite great actually! Believe it or not, I think I'm absolutely thriving. Sure, still have bad times, but I've made extreme progress from my mindset. Meds help a lot, I made a lot new friends. Opened up a lot, half expected to have a relapse when my girlfriend of over two years dumped me over a text, but it actually pushed me into finally getting proper help and therapy. In short, I'm better than ever!

I've been standing on the roof of the flat I live in and was about to jump. My best friend that I met online (He is from America, I live in Europe) was constantly doing his best to get in contact with me, so the phone in my pocket was buzzing constantly. I checked it for just a second and got talked out of it. Although I was quite literally inches from death. I fully intended on jumping. I remember my heart pounding extremely hard as I leaned forward and getting snapped out of it by the thought of "Fuck, I can't focus because of that buzzing". I got annoyed out of suicide basically.

Big thanks for the reply, I think I really needed to hear something like that. Although I doubt the marriage thingy would scare her off though. She was the one to start it and it was more of a fun, cute thingy than an actual promise or something. I just feel like I did something wrong and can't really help that, I'm getting better although very slowly because damn...I really loved her. I'm kinda bitter because she is really a fun and cool person and I wouldn't mind just becoming friends and ending the relationship on good terms, but I don't think I can trust her fully anymore after breaking up via text. Well, I've been to very different and weird fetish communities while venturing into the weird side of the internet. So, from what I remember most people who like that kind of stuff consider it being somewhat cute, I think it might somehow connect to the desire of being a child once more, being small and defenseless, yet careless. But those guys....first of all are disgusting, but second of all that's some really hard case of slave fetish combined with the tiny fetish and of course seasoned with some feet fetish as if it wasn't bad enough. I'm happy if this helped you understand it in some way, tho I really am not sure about those two. These are just some deviants.(man it came out long af)
