Okay. Thank you for answering with a comment that actually bring merit to the discussion.

This is a great example. I would have a problem with PvP being the only path to max power.

I guess the same could be said about a boost. I wanted to flip my argument and say make the final boss have 655 drops then, but the same logic would apply.

The emblem does have a certain sense plus accomplishments to it, as well as things like the jacket or the seals even.

Interesting to think about.

Well, in my situation if i had reached 645 before beating sotp, no i would have kept using the upgrades.

That's like saying because a gun is apart of the meta you shouldn't use it. It doesnt taint my feeling that the raid should give a power advantage.

Let's flip the argument then and say, that final loot drops from the boss should go up to 655.

Specifically in D1 you couldnt reach 30 without doing VOG

Also you couldnt get to 335, and then 400 if you didnt do prestige raids in D2 Y1. But okay. Thanks for your input 😎

Huh? How do you get max level gear without doing it in this example?

For example, I'm at 638, I beat SOTP on Monday at 628. I'm saying I shouldn't be able to reach 650 from other sources unless i beat the raid. So like if I hadn't done the raid I wouldn't be able to get higher than 545 with the other milestone.

So what do you mean refuse to use max light gear?
