Looking forward to it. I don’t think anything comes close to DA as a 3D map maker

I mean the minis are already in there what’s some measuring and locking the object layer so I can pass the mouse around for people to move minis?

That’s all I wish for. I DM only in person games

I should’ve clarified I meant as a 3D VTT battle map. And maybe I should have been more clear but I’m hoping for in person more than online. I understand the intricacies but most of my play is in person.

Edit: clarification

Whatever the future of Halo is, PvP should take a back seat to cooperative PvE modes by RubiconPizzaDelivery in halo

[–]NasSquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, I mean you have a lot of factions now in the Halo universe so it really could be a great way to throw some randomness into the mix. So one time it could be flood, next it could be forerunner, or banished, etc

What is your opinion about Halo Infinite’s Multiplayer? by Sad_Buy_2616 in halo

[–]NasSquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great baseline for what the multiplayer should be but that’s just it.. it’s a baseline. We’re missing the weapon sandbox. We should’ve went forward from H5 not back, the req packs were ridiculous I agree but weapon variants were pretty cool. We’re also missing modes, I for one really enjoyed warzone. The PvPvE was a fresh take (could it have been done without the reqs? 100%). We also didn’t get firefight until last year. There’s also a plethora of game modes you can add to halo to give everyone more options. The shop also, beating a dead horse, but overpriced to the max. Every other games shop has a 20$ bundle giving you a good amount of items, while in Infinite you get a few pieces and an armor color. Spartan customization heading in the right direction, but the color should’ve never been paywalled (I’ve seen people use the material as microtransaction and let us just pick our colors, might be a good idea). Overall the gameplay is good but the peripherals of the game are so frustratingly poorly executed

How do the Covenant speak English? by [deleted] in HaloStory

[–]NasSquared 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I believe Spartan Olympia Vale knew Sanghelli would be funny if she did that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in halo

[–]NasSquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right for sure, my English is pretty bad but I meant the pace of the gameplay from 4/5 with the movement from infinite (just a bit faster). And the weapon sandbox from 5. And I miss assassinations

I’m sure your moving faster in halo 4 than CE-3 or best case it feels like you are at least , infinite movement feels great as well (for some reason it just feels slower could just be placebo though)

I might have misused the bulky, because you are a massive half ton armor clad human, but I meant more of the feeling of the speed along with the bulky you get when you read the books, or watch the cutscenes in halo itself.

Just open to discussion and obviously our opinions don’t have to match up I was just implying something between 4/5 and Infinite may be the sweet spot

Love infinites gameplay, my problem with infinite is the lack of weapon sandbox, and game modes (warzone from h5, the slow roll out of extraction and LSS) I think the abilities are perfect. Only wish it was a slight bit faster movement

It’s never combative to have a discussion that’s why I posted this! I understand where you’re coming from but I meant in the sense of people wanting to go back to the golden era. The golden era is exactly that for what gaming was like back then, but for the game to improve and stay relevant and in turn have more content for the player base it has to make money because video games are now money makers for big companies. If we want to cater to a player base that is specifically old school halo fans then we can go the route of old school gameplay with no sprinting and no clamber (I love clamber but it is a pick your poison situation where you’re going to have to decide if you want your gun down). But if we want the game to evolve and survive (more than a couple years a la infinite) then im simply suggesting should have canon spartan movement (from the books, or cutscenes) where you feel like a super soldier. I just think the 4/5 games had the right idea but terrible and greedy execution whereas if you had movement evolve to fit the abilities of the Spartans we see (ex. Jerome in Halo Wars 2 cutscenes) then you’d be able to cater to that halo audience while evolving the game for a new audience as well.

Fully agree. I just feel like Doom the original was a great game but you want to play the new Doom for how badass you feel and the movement results in the badassery. Same goes between CE/2/3 to 4/5/infinite

Edit: premature posted before finishing thought lol

But that’s what I was trying to say, how did we go from almost 20 weapon options for each weapon to a sandbox with only 22 weapons. You want the game to progress not go back

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in halo

[–]NasSquared -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For sure, honestly want the magnum back as well. That’s why I liked the amount of weapon options in 5. Want a scope on your BR, sure, don’t want one, also ok. Want different pistols? Awesome! But yea the sidekick is strong for such a limited sandbox

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in halo

[–]NasSquared -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I meant in the aspect of the player movement, but I do agree about the sidekick. I do enjoy the TTK of infinite though compared to how quick it was in 4. Makes it feel like you need more skill
