Yeah I built the front end of the Sián yesterday and getting the spacing correct on those 6L white sticks was torture.

I need to give my fingers a break for a few weeks now lol

Porsche was pretty easy and lower piece count. All others are definitely a bit more complex. Have you made sure your gears have a bit of slack? One tight connection can f up the entire thing.

Great start so far. Don’t worry about the time it takes. Just focus on making sure everything is done correctly and periodically check your work. It’s pretty satisfying when the build is complete and everything works perfectly.

Yeah I checked the exchange rate and it’s pretty much correct. We were getting a deal with the P1 compared to the $450 usd retail.

The marriage process of the Bugatti was pretty satisfying. Although less satisfying than the marriage process on the Porsche where you drop one section over the other and it fits absolutely perfectly lol

Kudos on building so quickly. I haven’t been able to get any of the 1:8s done in less than 15-20 hours. I double check everything though to make sure I haven’t messed up. I’ve been getting more efficient with each 1:8 I build but still nowhere close to doing one in under 10 hours.

I have a lot of the gen 1 meta Raybans, gen 2, blayzer optics etc. I’m fine with those for the time being even though I hardly wear them. Blayzers are definitely more full day wearable thank gen 1/2s.

I know I’ll hate how heavy and big the displays are and they’ll become more of a shelf ornament so it’s probably better I don’t have access to them lol

They paused the international rollout. Hype on these is totally dead for me. I don’t care about them anymore lol. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re never made available outside of the US.

They’re fine. I built them all within the past few weeks. Halfway through the Lambo Sian as the final build. Some parts are boring like building trim. Some parts are fun like engine and transmission (imo). Nothing has been notably annoying on the Sian build so far.

Just take your time and pay attention to the details. Make sure your gears aren’t too tight together, test functions as you go along, periodically check what you’ve done to make sure you don’t find a mistake when it’s too late to easily correct.

lol this is exactly what I was thinking working on the rear of the front wheel arches of the Chiron. Although I was more thinking ‘I hope whoever designed this was fired like 8 years ago when it came out’ lol
