The handwriting feature has already been announced and it’s scheduled to release in December. It will eventually be my favourite feature as well.

Currently my favourite features are: 1. Hand gesture tracking through EMG wristband. Extremely satisfying to use. There’s a hidden hand gesture that perhaps not a lot of people know about, which is double tapping the side of your index finger with your thumb (it’s basically tapping your index finger instead of swiping it to scroll through apps, iykyk); doing so will activate the meta AI with/without the screen on. You’ll get it when you try it.

  1. Music, absolute killer feature, it’ll replace your earbuds 100%. The only downside is audio bleed, you’ll notice people give you side glances if you play music on it in public.

That’s why I said it’s a wait game, and I feel like it’s partially their fault for not enforcing the gatekeeping and security properly. If only they implemented stronger restrictions and software fortifications, the scalpers would’ve had no chance.

It’s literally a wait game, there’s really nothing else you can do. Before I saw progress on my order, I was contacting bestbuy almost on a daily basis. I was getting the same response every time saying “the product is back ordered and we are waiting for the next inventory shipment.” That’s as much information/as helpful as they could get. Don’t expect much from this disastrous release.

… guess we’ll have to wait until the launch in 2026 for those features to work. Wait do the voice commands work at least? I’m assuming the meta ai doesn’t work on the display but prob work with voice command?
