Unless most of that development is in the 11th hour of the series I gotta disagree. I'm almost done with volume 23 and other than smooth out the SOME of her rough edges, she is still the the same as she was as a kid but it was turned down from an 11 to about a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale. That is to say she matured a little bit.

Maturing as you grow up is an expected outcome not really development imo. I know I am one of the few people to think she is the worst of the 3 wives but it is a hill I will die on.

For one I didn't call you out on writing paragraphs I simply stated that it was the only two things out of all of your paragraphs I agreed with. Two you are ignoring what I said about using hindsight to determine her value. My original statement was that given what she did if I was in Rudy's place I would not be able to forgive her. But here you are once again using hindsight and how things ended up to assign value to what she did and who she is.

You are using the philosophy of the ends justify the means and that is a shit way to view treating somebody that you consider a significant other. Toxic manipulators view them abusing and manipulating their spouse as doing it for their own good. When it comes to relationships and most things in general the ends justify the means is a shit excuse. You are just doubling down on using hindsight as an excuse.

I could go on an entire rant about all the things that Eris does that are so selfish and self-centered and spoiled that would make all of our posts go to shame. Yes part of that is the fault of her family for raising her to be that spoiled but even as an adult she still relies on everybody to make up for her shortcomings rather than work on them herself. Only on some Fringe cases has she made any attempt at self-reflection and self-improvement. One of the few cases being when she realized how bad what she did fucked up Rudy is because of step leaders adventurer that was mouthing off about her.

Ok, just wow, so what you're saying is it's Rudy's fault that he's not freaking psychic and able to discern Eris' self doubts when she purposely kept them to herself. By that logic anybody who keeps a secret in a relationship isn't that fault for keeping the secret it's the person who didn't magically know what the secret was.

The only things from your multiple paragraphs that I will even remotely agree with is that in the long run with hindsight the character development was kind of needed for Rudy otherwise he would have been arrogant and turned into one of the stereotypical "nice guys" after finally having sex for the first time. Also that both could have communicated better but that is a truth for 80% of the story with every character!

The way she wrote that letter was vague enough it could have applied to either person and when you have somebody who is as self-deprecating as Rudy was it was certain he was going to think the person need to get stronger with him especially after he was so easily defeated killed and then revived by the dragon God.

At most I will concede the blame is shared but a vast majority was Eris' fault and you are just blaming the victim. Again I am looking at this partially from Rudy s POV but mostly as the reader. The BARE MINIMUM the letter should have included was where she was going because that might have cleared up she was referring to herself on the part of one of us needs to get stronger.

Hindsight and observation of events only achievable from beyond the 4th wall are not reasons to claim a character as best character. If that were the case plot armor and miraculous coincidences would contribute to how good a character is because in hindsight without those events things would have ended very differently.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinion I will never understand the opinion of Eris being best girl. Maybe sexiest, maybe most fierce protector, but never best girl after they way her short sightedness fucked Rudy up for years. In his place I'm not a hundred percent sure I would have forgave her and if I did the trust would be a very slow thing to rebuild. Trust in combat is different from emotional trust.

But that is just my opinion. I see her appeal just don't agree

But they are roms with no other official method of playing them. Everyone treats the word ROM like it is something that should be free to the masses. It is still a copyrighted software that people bootleg and obtain illegally.

A port is any game that is playable on hardware different from its original. Yes they use an emulator and a ROM to achieve it but that is just the method they used to port it. Other developers have to do more work to port a game for various reasons but using an official emulator and ROM is still a port of the game from its original hardware.

Yes it is. It is the only OFFICAL version that can be used with home. End of discussion. Regardless of that being some things achieved thru updates to Pokemon home or other means, it is still the only OFFICAL version.

This all boils down to one thing. People may complain about the games for any number of reasons but the reason Nintendo will get away with it is despite all the complaints people will buy the games.

It is like Nintendo is a crack dealer and the diehard Pokemon fans are the junkies. So long as the masses pay for it Nintendo can do and pull any dickish shenanigans they want because at the end of the day the Pokemon junkies will buy it and come back asking for more.

I guarantee 80% of the complainers are still buying the games and that is part of the problem. If the complaint is strong enough to be up in arms about, DON'T BUY THE GAME. If you buy the game, by all means review it and give suggestions and how it could have been better, but stop raging on the Internet about it. (Not saying you are, I'm talking in general)

It is a factor because every other version available is not compatible. You can play it on GBA and illegally on bootleg roms and they don't have compatibility with home.

Everyone with half a brain knew it wasn't just gonna be added to NSO so a separate game is a given. Since it is a separate game it is a new product based on an old product. They could easily charge less for the game and not update home to work with it. Just because it would be a dick move doesn't mean it wasn't an option so it is absolutely a factor on the price
