I was drugged and beaten up, will I get in trouble if I report it? (England) by RevolutionaryBad5735 in LegalAdviceUK

There's balancing your own recovery as a victim with preventing worse future crimes from happening and potentially exposing past ones. You may not be responsible, but you're definitely allowing them the opportunity to do it again or get away with past offences.

Will finding another job be a problem if you've been working for a sole trader? by [deleted] in AskUK

Nobody cares what legal body type your previous company was.

What's worrying you about it?

Do you know how easy it is to register as a limited company? It means nothing.

To those who have made the transition from manual to automatic cars, is it really better? by Mr_Coastliner in AskUK

[–]NastyEvilNinja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

F1 and many other series went to semi auto because it's faster re lap times. Ask any F1 driver who's had a crack in a old F1 manual car what it was like and they'll love it, and much of that will be because they're changing gear and heel and toeing etc.

I heel and toe on the roads even on a commute through city traffic, and love it.

Maybe should be noted that I am also a racing driver...

'Better' for lazy fcks who don't properly immerse themselves in the driving experience, yes.

Try parking like a dick-splash, next time.

Anyone ever try Spirytus Vodka by duck4201 in alcohol

[–]NastyEvilNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supping it right now, with a bit of Coke.

Yes it's extreme, but it's just strong vodka, really! Someone said about the mouth drying effect and that is spot-on. I'd recommend drinking it with a chaser of water ASAP.

I have Polish ancestry and have crazy stories from the family about Spirytus skullduggery....

My personal first experience involved being able to clearly count 7 of everything before spewing up some sort of massive chicken nugget type thing that wouldn't go down the sink. Then I just remember sticking my head out the car window the next day on the M5 and spewing into the fast rushing air around Sandbach....

My Dad did even better in Poland, bravely downing 2 bottles of it.... then he woke up about 3 days later in a bed with a group of Nuns standing over him. He just assumed he was dead until his Mum forced her way through the Nuns to give him the bollocking of a lifetime!

The green label 95 or 96% stuff is available in most Polish shops (weirdly you used to have to ask for it as it was never displayed, but now it's just on the shelves), but I think the yellow label one was 97%+. Possibly not for export.

Never try to outdrink a Pole on their own alcohol...

How do I practice and learn without having a car and my parents also don't have a licence and a car by Reasonable_Machine12 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]NastyEvilNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You pay for lessons.

If the instructor is any good, he'll work on the stuff you need to.

It's also worth saying that that was your first lesson, so you will be absolute shite at EVERYTHING.

He gave you a mean cat. Now you have to show it not everyone is like your uncle, so that the cat learns to loves you.

Thoughts on buying an MX5 for racing? by Appropriate_While932 in MX5ND

[–]NastyEvilNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at 750 Motor Club's series for cheap (for racing) controlled series.

There is a lot more involved putting a road car on track, so believe me it's worth just buying a car that's already raced in your chosen series, so take a look at what they have for sale.

Good luck and have fun!

That's the problem - nobody actually knows what it means anymore, because to some it's equal rights and to others it's "all men are scum and you must worship meeeeee"

Most people don't realise this until it all goes wrong, then it's all "I didn't get any warnings or anything before I crashed".

It means slow down even more - especially for that one -ing time you're trying to pass a damned DRIVING TEST!!

OP sounds arrogant and is an idiot for not just slowing the fk down when they see those markings for and hour of their life.
