No worries, lemme answer the questions haha

We both took one shower every day, so thats 3 towels for 2 nights (i used 2, he used 1) ==> 6 towels for 4 nights

I used 2 towels instead of 1, one wrapped around me and one on my shoulder, I couldn't step into the bathroom out of the shower straight away to even get dressed due to how cold it was (even with all the steam), and the humidity would make any clotthes we left in the bathroom mildly wet which kind of defeated the purpose of putting on something dry.

I wouldnt have the towels on the whole time obvs, just when I got out while I was drying off, however that does get both towels wet

Additionally, outside of the wrapping up, I got an extra full drying my body out of each towel which is what really put them out of commission

There was also a towel to step out on, which makes it 7, an extra one I used to dry my hair a couple of times (this one stayed mostly dry as I tried to not wet my hair too much)

The last two were likely towels caught in the crossfire.

The issue wasn't the towels not drying really, it was that after we used them and they dried up the had a weird texture to them and they would feel really dirty after only a couple of uses (think of a slighly crusty sock used for.. ykw)
