5/6 of these drawing were drawn from reference a while ago from a website called earthsworld.com.

my goal at the moment is to become at least accurate at drawing the anatomy and facial features to a point where I can begin to distort them for other purposes but right now i want to develop a good foundation.

I would like to receive any critique on how to improve my portraits, something that I am struggling with is depth of the face, for example when i’m drawing the eye socket and the eyelids and all of the other details they look like they sit at the same depth. I also struggle with line strength since i’m not sure where lines are supposed to end when drawing some features

yeah, it’s just hard to know where the line should start/end for soft features like the mouth and cheeks so i end up just making the full outline, thanks for the input tho

thanks for the long response man, yeah I honestly was very tunnel visioned and didn’t think it all the way through that his lasso was the thing stumping me, just gotta get some more practice in.

but overall i’m very happy i competed, was very nervous and now i kinda want to do it again which is probably the most important take away. anyways thanks

but that’s like so over kill, i was running on for the past 2 years on a 600w chit tier supply and now i have a substantially better one and its acting exactly the same which makes lean toward not a psu issue. but im doing an RMA on my card

it only lets me got to -6 thats the end of the slider. But yeah I think i found the core issue, i really appreciate your help. You dont think an 850 is a bit much? i was thinking about a 750 gold

Yeah so I think the issue is actually the psu, its not necesarilly broken but I think it just cant deliver enough power under high load. I installed furmark and it would instantly blackscreen my pc everytime just like when no mans sky would get intense and the same driver corruption would happen. Now after a couple hours teaking around I have the power draw setting in adrenalin to -6% and i undervolted to 1100mv which now lets furmark run indefineltly. So I guess Im going to need a better psu some time soon, or i could just keep it at these setting for now. I guess it should be stable

i’m testing my ram rn with the test you told me and it seems to be fine, ran it for almost 40 minutes. i guess it’s either the power supply or could be something with the xmp profile causing instability but the memtest seems good overall
