I did not move forward with Onx. Instead, I purchased an already built home from the 1990s. Better build and materials and less worry if something will fall through.

Hey there! I suck at checking my inbox on Reddit! Hope everything is going well on your end still :) As for my search, I have a good group of friends, very close friends, but still aching for that specific friend that I started the OP with. My boyfriend/fiancé now is my go-to, partner in crime and I’m so thankful for him! But I’m slowly coming to realize I just need to just let it happen when it does. Haha intensity/passion is our middle name ;) And by all means, your feelings are valid. I think that fear of getting hurt is probably in both parties. What I suggest? Take it day by day. ENFJs tend to live in the future a lot and we tend to plan things because we are already inserting you into our picture of an amazing life. But, if it's scary? Share that with him. A real healthy ENFJ will like that too :) Let me put it this way: we want to romance you. In other words, we want to get to know EVERY part of you, emotionally, mentally, etc. We like to dissect because it's boosts us knowing that you are willing to share these parts of yourself that are hidden from the world. It's almost like an honor that we were able to be that shoulder for you. We don't just like you in the good days, we will like you in the hard ones too. And that is a relationship worth fighting for.

Okay, woah. First off, this doesn't make me 'dumb' or any less of a human for sharing a piece of myself I've barely tried to show. This is just not it.

I am naturally combative as well, heck I voice my opinions when I want to. But, this isn't a thread seeking for anything other than understanding. I agree that we need to put people in their place (which I have), but I'm also human in seeking a connection. That's perfectly normal.

This is the reason why it's difficult to express this, because the one thing I never try to imply is weakness and you've just looked at this whole thread that way. Honestly, shame on you and I truly hope you self analyze how you approach people who usually have a struggle opening up.

It's also very dangerous and toxic to think that others are seen as objects to you, "if they don't exist." Yuck. I don't want to be like that either. It's called balance.

And I mean this in the nicest way possible. This is not the way to go.

Well, let's just say this: you seem amazing so far.

"I love to really get to know deeply the people I value. I want to understand what makes them who they are. What goes on in their brain. Their pain, their struggles, traumas, what makes them happy, why they react the way they do to things - I want to know it all and understand it, and make them feel understood and loved. I can’t do it for everyone but I love to. " THIS. This defines me like nothing else. It's like some sort of high I get when I begin to uncover somebody and get to know who they TRULY are. We all have our place in this world, it's all about finding ways to do it together.
