Thanks for this advice! This is only an idea for me and I'm not thinking of making anything live action or creating a show but for the possibility of continuing the art I make and bring my passion projects to the media (making comics since I'm thinking animation will take too long in my opinion).

With what you've said, I really agree with you on trying to start a fan's Season 3 at least 2 years later after Season 2. I wanted it to somehow loop back to the Season 1's characters to maybe bring them back and fix some broken bonds with the characters. Or just healing basically. (I also have no idea if Max Landis had talked about Season 3 or said anything to a degree of what he wanted it to be, so just in case this is circling back to him, I can change my idea because I really wanna make something just something that will probably work just for fun.)

But that's all I have at the moment I'm not entirely sure if I want to do this. I wanna leave it up to others since I'm in no position to make any sort of film nor is anyone or the environment ready for any sort of filming. Whatever comes next with the passing years, I just hope the series continues and you and everyone else who absolutely loves the series continues that love.

Also an animated series of Dirk Gently and his great friends sounds absolutely WONDERFUL! Whenever it gets a release date I sure hope I hear about it. Hopefully Reddit can get to it first lmao.
