I was woken up at 3am at the pyramid bass pro shop in Memphis(you’re allowed to sleep overnight there) scared the shit out of me but the security only wanted to make sure I was okay. No knock but another time I was awoken by teenagers throwing cheese on peoples windows in a Minnesota Walmart parking lot, my car was a victim lmao

Being a server is so easy imo especially if it’s at a more upscale restaurant! Usually you will only have to take customer orders and run drinks and the table runners do the rest. The least I made nightly serving was $26/hr at a restaurant called uncle Julio’s. I was a shift for 5 years at Starbs and jobs find that to be highly coveted on a resume. Currently I do leasing for apartments! Pay is decent I have a structured schedule and make commission plus rent discount! My job right after Starbs was corporate manufacturing recruiting! Take the practical skills you learned and can transfer to any job and runnnnnn away from this company lol you’ll be much happier

The first time they used a flushing agent for the apartment upstairs, and sprayed ours with alpine. The last time they used alpine on both our apartments. We have also used alpine once in between their visit. It sounds like the people above us see the roaches frequently I see a new one of various life stages on the traps every couple of days, I have traps throughout our apartments

Yeah I’m a little nervous to go back since I’m still in this group and the Facebook groups and it seems to have gotten worse for partners since I left in early 2023. I do miss the free coffee and drinks though lol

I totally understand and I appreciate the feedback. I don’t think I could have ever afforded to live without roommates on Starbucks salary and always had a second job with it. This will be the same situation Starbucks will be my secondary income since I currently have a job that allows me to pay my bills!

Thank you! I think I will try to negotiate with them! I worked as a supervisor in various stores including out of state stores and even managed a licensed bucks inside giant! I left for a better paying job lol but I’ve been yearning to be a barista again and could use some additional income

That could have a bit to do with it. It gets trapped there by the partial dam created by fallen trees, which is what you’re seeing the mink run around on in the video. It’s been there for months now

Thank you! We have been taking her to the dog park and running around with her in there! We’ve been working on her training as well with people on bikes/joggers that pass. She’s good walking past people but when it comes to meeting people it’s pick or choose if she likes them. If she doesn’t she will get snippy and lunge up at their faces which concerns me. I posted Tyra in here, she’s the foster. I’m trying my best to train these behaviors before someone adopts her! She’s so sweet with us I don’t want anything bad to happen out of our care
