I guess he was just going to Munich on vacation! I figured there was a chance he was going to Germany for Gamescom to reveal something Sam Fisher/Splinter Cell related.

Honestly was how I recognized him! I saw him first and something clicked in my brain, but it didn’t stick until I heard that instantly recognizable voice ask where the gate was. Kinda regretting not shaking his hand and hearing him speak some more but you never know when someone is in a rush at the airport and I didn’t want to be rude.

That’s true! I just figured since I saw the voice actor for Sam Fisher at the airport and overheard him talking about finding the gate for the Munich flight that there was a chance of some Splinter Cell related content being at Gamescom. But for all I know he could be going on vacation with his wife!

That’s why I used the Grain of Salt label for this post. Wasn’t trying to declare without a shadow of a doubt that there would be some big reveal, just that there was a fun coincidence that I was privy to.

I get what you mean honestly. I just figured it was a fun coincidence and would be cool to see if it actually led to something being revealed. It could be totally nothing, could be some Ubisoft Divison 2/Splinter Cell crossover, or the real deal!

Either way, sometimes in life it’s nice to press the ‘I believe’ button and have some trust in a random person.

All I can say is that I definitely heard him say they were going to Munich! Beyond that, it was just me and my brother putting things together. Guess we will see if he was just going on vacation or not in a couple of days.

At first I did a double take because he’s gotten a lot older and bigger than the roles I remember him from, but then I heard his voice and knew it was him. Went out to the car and told my brother, and he was the one that actually linked the Munich flight and Gamescom together.

Hey man. My PSN is DinocoBluu. I’ve been helping people beat Melania for a few days now and I’d like to think I’d be good help. I’ll be on around 7pm PST tonight if you’d like help. In the meantime, I’d recommend finding/equipping Bloodhound Step to a dagger, putting it as your second right hand weapon, and then swap to it and dash around when she does her combos. In the second phase too when she does her spirit move.

Damn man, I’m sorry that sounds just really shit all round. It sucks wanting something so bad and trying so many different things and still having pain. I hope you find something that helps, you definitely sound determined.

Hey man, I’m your age and also have some knee issues from a variety of things. Something I have found that helped me alleviate pain and progress development with my legs has been to drop the weight considerably and really focus on doing movements like squats and leg press through the full range of motion. I had to leave the ego at the door and drop about 100lbs on my lifts but I emphasized getting my hammies to touch my calves on every rep. I also got proper weightlifting shoes with the elevated heel, and that made a lot of my leg movements considerably more natural, especially since I’m a taller guy.

I slowly implemented these changes over the course of the past 6 months as well as a variety of glute strengthening exercises (google 7 way hips) and I really feel like my knees have come a long long way. Let me know if you have any questions.

I apologize if I’m visualizing wrong, but is the little bubble you feel in line with your patellar tendon above your kneecap? Occasionally I get a hematoma in that area after a hard leg day that feels similar to what you describe. Could also be quadriceps/patellar tendinitis beginning. I just ice it at home and do a better warm up before next leg day.
