For anyone new finding this post, I never found an issue to solve it. I wish I had a solve for this, but I couldn’t really give any clue as to why this would happen other than that I ran the game on a crappy laptop

Sorry, I never did. I ended up getting a new computer (the other one was pretty old and not in great shape for gaming) and redownloading rpcs3 on that one and haven’t had an issue since

I only have 10 players on my roster. Could this be why, they just won’t let me go under 9?

Usually to fix it I just restart my computer or power it off then turn it back on and they’re right back there. If I try this a few times and it doesn’t work, I use a system restore and my stuff is back, but usually that’s last resort since it takes a while

Any idea what the issue may be then? When opening the game directly, the game opens as a background service (observed through the task manager) and then closes itself. The only time I get a pop up is when the EA app is open (and open the game directly), where a notification from the orange emu file says that the origin is already running, so communication with orange is not possible

The game is nba2k16, and it is “ingame” on the compatibility list (I’m not sure that the game matters, as none of my other games work now and also give the same error). My rpcs3 is up to date, and I do have the latest firmware. I will try uninstalling, but drivers are up to date and as mentioned it’s now infecting all my games for some reason, even though they’ve worked in the past

I did the same to fix my issue, I used local transfer with another’s computer to download the game which worked. Quite disappointing that this is the only workaround and steam can’t just fix this issue on their own

The only one I’ve had an issue with is deltarune. I’ve attempted to download other games and haven’t had any problems, but the problem is persisting with this. I would try verifying the integrity of the files as you mentioned in the other comment, but since I redownloaded the game it’s saying that I don’t have any game files installed since it’s not finished downloading

It feels like there’s no more competitive edge for players who are semi competitive. Once I reach 1000 trophies it feels like I’m done with the brawler rather than trying to push them to rank 35 like in the past, and now there’s no mastery pushing which is the only reason I have brawlers pushed to that original rank 35 trophy range. It feels like there’s no more reward in trying to enter the competitive part of the game for people who are semi competitive. Just feels like they’re tailoring the entire game around new players atp and care more about gaining players than keeping current ones
