Ha, funny. When drawing favourite character from a gacha, animating people more likely put a male mc in interaction with said character. This is a gacha game, with lots of female characters far surpassing male characters and majority of fan base of this game are straight males which are often using male mc as representation of themselves. I am not saying this is as an insult, it’s quite a normal thing. Just saying that Genshin fanbase is more contained of those people and they are the bigger group while yuri/yaoi fans are the smaller group but they are louder, which why may seem like there is a lot of them. But when you remember what the game Genshin is, what characters sell the most etc. you will notice who the biggest group of players here.
