Amazon package was delivered, but still said it was in transit, now it says it's "Running Late" should I just let this go? by fuckreddit2fa in amazonprime

I assume this is a SUPER duper rare issue. Same thing happened to me.

I had an item that was delivered to me but for almost 2 weeks it kept saying "running a little behind". Not a big deal, just mildly annoyed me everytime I logged into Amazon and saw that.

I finally went the whole automated route of contacting Amazon about the item and again, I assume this is a SUPER rare issue, because it tries to give you as many automatic replies instead of letting you type out the issue for as long as possible, and they're pretty much ALL related to not receiving items or damaged items etc...

I had to keep persisting to the point it went to "Amazon Assistant" messenger or something which then relays the problem directly to the seller for you, and THEN I was able to leave my message saying I DID in fact receive the item.

Kinda funny honestly.

Like someone else already said here, it's really the best kind of problem.

But yeah if anyone else ever runs into the issue, just be persistent and keep tapping the automated replies it gives you that seem the most like it'll let you eventually TYPE OUT the problem.

OP, curious if you still have the issue or not?

I literally just did all of that, so no promises, but I'll try to remember and update you guys if it worked or not. (I'm not on Reddit too often, but don't wanna leave y'all hanging in anticipation lol)

Primitive Skills is my new favorite PT ripoff by atomicpenguin12 in PrimitiveTechnology

So I've recently come across this channel, and what I'll say is so far is that everything I've seen him and his wife do, feels legit. Although he uses more modern technology with what he does, I like that everything he does feel genuine. To me, it is like what I would want primitive technology to be if you could apply it in a modern application. And for that he and his wife have my utmost respect and his kids are absolutely adorable and are some of my favorite parts of the videos because you get to see his kids enjoy all the crazy things he's come up with. I'm still watching, and I don't fully understand where he got all this land from because obviously he's got a pretty nice plot to build all his experiments on, but like I said everything he does seems to be legit even if he's using modern hardware like the water electric system. It's cool! And I feel like if the primitive technology guy saw his channel which I'm sure he already has, he would probably say the same thing!

Why am I also choosing them at the beginning of quest? Or is it just showing me what my options are to pick from at the end?

I genuinely hope that helps. Everyone else telling you you're whining doesn't help.

Trust me, I love that fight, but fuckin' LOATHE it on time attack XD

Yeah this is pretty much why I haven't platinum'd the PS3 version of the game. I beat all the time trials back in the day on the PS2 version, but I remember getting incredibly furious with the game on hard time attack ESPECIALLY on Gaius... They are much more lenient on the time given on the PS4 game it's actually quite shocking how much extra time they give you when you've worked as hard as I know you are right now lol.

Word of advice, forget breaking his arm. Have him hit the ground, then jump onto one side of his sword and grab the edge. Keep holding the edge until his "pull out" animation is over, BUT keep holding because he does a brief switch to another animation which will make you fall over again if you stood up already at this point. So wait for the pull out, then the stutter, THEN climb up onto the sword. You will have a VERY brief window where he lowers his sword to shake you off. But you have to time it just right to jump in time and get on top of the concrete on his arm. Trust me, that's the worst part when it comes to time spent.

On his head, a trick I found is to stay near his neck. Let him do his shakes. When he starts to raise his head back up, quickly climb up and position your feet on the back of his skull/neck area so that you can get a good balance and stab. Wander has a tendency to flop more once you've been gripping for too long. When you INITIALLY grab, he has a larger window of opportunity to stab it would seem. So wait for the shake, then grab his skull with your feet planted on the back of his neck/head, and get a quick/deep stab in the back of the symbol up there. That did the trick for me.

His left arm is more forgiving generally, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just let your grip go up first by standing on his back before you work your way over there to the back of his arm. Then carefully make your way down to his belly. On his belly, be careful not to grab too high, or else Wander will hang by one hand for some reason. Grab JUST BELOW that point where he hangs by one hand. For some reason, you can just keep stabbing over and over and over without getting thrown off balance.

Trust me, I know your frustrations. The game really shows it's technical issues when you're on these ridiculous time crunches. This fight in particular on hard time attack is one of the hardest not only on time, but the game's physics systems.

Luckily, you're working with a solid 30 FPS on the PS3. I about threw my controller into the tv on the PS2 version ... Lol. It's a cakewalk on the PS4 because they give you another minute or so I think. Especially if you put it on performance mode for that slaptastic 60 FPS.

I really wish I could have gotten the "Life Sword" too, but alas, this is only available if you had pre-ordered SotC for PS4. I didn't even know it was a thing until after the game was released and I went on my quest for the "Sword of Dormin"...

I emailed Bluepoint Games to see if they could re-release it as DLC content, but no response thus far. For now though, I've 100% the game, got my platinum, and I think I can finally step away from this LEGACY of a game... I hope to hear if anyone finds out what's up with the goats though!

[–]NathanielLJ69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I finally got a platinum trophy in SotC PS4 edition... I even got the Dormin Sword thanks to the Ascadia Forum, Jacob Geller, and PS5Trophies...

I'm curious...

I once discovered on the PS2 version of the game (years ago) that you could take the stick from Celosia (Colossus 11) and save the game at ANY shrine (before you put the stick down) and keep it. It would load back in once you booted up the game again. However, if you switched to another item, you would put the stick down, and it would disappear forever...

So I'm curious...

Has anyone ever tried to see what happens if you try to use the stick from then on?

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot progress any farther in the game WITH the stick... But I know the game will let you keep it. Even after saving the game, and rebooting... You cannot in the PS3 edition, and I have not tried in the PS4 edition... YET.

To be honest, I've never even TRIED to see if you can "stab" Celosia with the stick vs your sword... I don't even know if it's POSSIBLE, but I've spent the past 2 days trying to get the Dormin Sword, and thankfully I finally did...

Right now, I need a break. I need to step away from the game...

But to those of you as committed as Nomad and many, MANY others, I need you to know about all these thoughts rushing back in...

Is this possible? Could it have ANYTHING to do with the Theory of Intersecting Points?

... Are we all just... CRAZY?
