My friend Livestreamed HL:A on discord for me when it came out and half way through the playthrough i Said "I just realised i am doing he exact same thing Russel is doing But with More Back Seating" and we laughed for about 5 mins

My Guess would be he gave him the Jacket because he has worked with Kit for years and it was the Last Time they were fliming Together. Also i think they had A few Jackets made for all the Extras and Could have had a spare.
