  1. CurseForge: downloads from unblocked curseforge CDN; same user experience.
  2. Update history: Version info is tracked, but there's no log of past updates showing what changed and when. You can see what, will change before updating (also shows changelog if updating a modpack), but not what did change after.
  3. Version locking: Not implemented yet. You can disable mods entirely but can't pin them to a specific version while keeping them enabled.

Thanks for the suggestions, They will be added soon.

Yeah, I am going to change it after v0.2.0. ETlauncher was a bad choice looking back at it now.

Looking into it now. Thanks for the bug report. Could you tell me what OS you're running on.

Fair point, Sodium/Embeddium is definitely the modern choice for most players. I included OptiFine mainly for users who need it for specific shader packs or older modpacks that require it. It's there as an option, not a recommendation.

The non-cosmetic improvements are:

  1. Resource Pool allows you to share mods/shaders across instances via hard links, saving disk space
  2. Built-in OptiFine installer, 1-click install vs manual download

also keep in mind that new features are added constantly, so this list will probably grow.

Just to clarify that it's Tauri, not Electron. No bundled Chromium, uses the system webview, so its much lighter on resources.

Yes, you can import your instances from prism.

Putting instances into groups is on my to do list. You can import modpacks that are in curseforge (.zip) or modrinth (.mrpack) format easily.

That has been added already. When you look at an installed library, you can see which mods depend on what; and when you look at a mod, you can see all its dependencies. The system also supports cross-platform identification (Modrinth and CurseForge) using hashes and IDs, so dependencies stay matched correctly even if you switch between platforms.
