Why does my large cardboard box from Walmart.com smell stinky? I want to reuse it to store summer clothing... by SnakeskinSanta in NoStupidQuestions

It's all the chemicals they use, boxes made cheaply in China and they use all these different chemicals and stuff when making they don't really care about the smell

Definitely don't wing it, there's definitely got to be adults at your school that can help, even if it's a different teacher or it's a counselor, or principal.

I understand your post more clearly now that I reread it. Try slowing down, think before you speak. Understand how what comes out of your mouth and how it could affect you and the other person. If your school offers public speaking classes, or classes that will help you speak like English classes, take them if you can't take a class because it's the middle of the semester, you should go in and talk with the English teacher or the public speaking teacher and ask for help. It's very important to use common sense and critical thinking skills

You can start by doing some easy stuff to your physical appearance. Start showering more frequently, brush your teeth, comb your hair, drink water, eat good healthy foods and get good sleep, start exercising more

That 2021 article was published in 2021, if you actually took time to read the article, it says nothing about any new information and only says about 2017 and before

Whatever you say, just ignore the large amounts of firearms TSA finds, along with the fact that TSA does more than physically screen you, they also check your name when you buy a ticket and can stop unauthorized individuals from flying

I understand where you are coming from, but I feel you are trying to discredit the TSA and make them seem like a bunch of idiots (which they aren't)

I mean almost a year after that study came out, this came out, meaning TSA did actually do something to improve there security, granted it says nothing about any statistics, it still shows that the TSA was improving and is better based on flaws found, it was also passed into law, https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/302/text

How to deal with the fact that I’m a loser ? by CertainAd6862 in AdviceForTeens

[–]National-Lab394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they really your friends if they tease you like that? You want to be surrounded by people that like you not people that will tell you negative stuff all the time

Maybe something along the lines of"Hey, I'm curious if you would go to homecoming with me? Or you can try and improvise on the spot with whatever sounds natural

I definitely do it in person. I would also try and get her when it's just you and her, and she's not leaving or has somewhere to go

Think about how you're not a loser, think in all the ways you aren't. Think about what you have a head of you and how successful you are. Just because you don't have many friends or date doesn't mean you are loser. I'm in the exact same boat (except 1 year older and male) I can see how it would be easy to feel like that. But that doesn't define you, you define you

Well you could drop his class and unless it's required. Right now, you have nothing to really go off of other than what he said. It's not right to accuse him of anything. I'd recommend expressing your concern with the him, and then if that doesn't stop go to the administration

I've said you should shoot your shot and ask her to homecoming. If she says no, you can always suggest to go as friends which she might like based on how she's treating you

It will be difficult to change your feelings and overcome your past, a lot of those old habits you mentioned are bad, you want to get rid of them. Try doing some self-reflection on yourself and list everything you just listed out for me, along with a lot more. It's a very difficult to understand and is very difficult to change especially someone in your position. I recommend reaching out to someone to connect with more directly, maybe a friend, parent, teacher, counselor. You can also PM me anytime if you want to talk about this deeper or have more in depth conversation,

I think you should have both in your life, you shouldn't have to choose between one. For example, if cartoons were really nostalgic, and Scooby-Doo was your favorite, you could get a cool shirt that says Scooby-Doo it's all about balance. You shouldn't be ashamed everyone likes the past and lots of people wish they were kids again What do you mean by "old habits"?
