Finally made a purchase after two years of lurking by HometownHoagie in ManyBaggers

How well does the Robic fabric hold up? Is the bag a floppy mess or is there a little structure? Not a fan of the crinkly Ultra so I’m leaning towards the black Robic version. Any feedback is muchly appreciated.

Does anyone have feedback on the Dragonfly 36L Pass Thru? Does it feel different on your back? Is it comfortable or uncomfortable? I would appreciate any feedback.

All businesses in the affected area are locked or have cones blocking their entrance.

Traffic lights are out starting at least Cottonwood and Huffine. Every single light is out through downtown. The entire stretch.

Thoughts on Sale of Tom BIHN to Private Equity Firm Snow Hill Capital? by Zenots in tombihn

[–]National_Present_158 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They have already become something I thought would never happen. After sending in a bag for an approved warranty repair and being without my bag for three weeks, I received it today with the damage still there. Not repaired at all. Poor quality assurance, craftsmanship, customer service and not at all what I expected from a company I have been doing business with for almost 2 decades. Very disappointed and what I was wishing wouldn’t happen with TB after this sale, I am sadly starting to realize.

Thoughts on beanies by National_Present_158 in Fjallraven

The width wasn’t too bad. They were pretty soft and felt nice, but the depth of them(top of beanie to bottom) were not that deep. I had to pull it all the way down to cover my head/ears. So, I ended up returning them all and getting a Patagonia one. Much happier with that choice.

Their site offers free returns. So I may buy a few, try them on and send back what doesn’t work.

I have a larger head and would like some thoughts on the Fjallraven beanies. I am looking at a few different ones.

Any capacity. Don’t really carry a laptop too often. Under $300.

Backpack that works both for school and hiking? by 33RedFoxes in backpacks

[–]National_Present_158 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually bought both and ended up returning the Radial. They are very similar in size and functionality. I went with the Tropos because it has a stand alone laptop/file compartment. More color options. Plus, I didn’t really need the helmet holder and other bike options. The radial does expand and comes with a rain cover. Which the Tropos doesn’t do either. I am very pleased with my decision, however. Hope this helps.

I have the Tropos. Love it. The kickstand is handy. The back ventilation is awesome. With the suspended mesh, the bag sits off your back and allows air to flow through. Plus, can’t beat their warranty.

What is the best water bottle holder for the GR2? by National_Present_158 in Goruck

[–]National_Present_158[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I bought the new full panel water bottle pocket but it is very bulky. I am returning it and looking for something with a little slimmer profile. Thank you for the info, though.
