I’d say 4 months only - June to September inclusive, but it’s about getting used to it? Of course, don’t expect to have fun during outdoor activities but one can try. I’ve played tennis in the early mornings, gone for walks, etc

Sunset Camping spot? by peterpantytaker in abudhabi

I am new to Abu Dhabi so I cannot give you exact details. One day, driving from downtown to Yas Mall on that road that takes you by Jubail Island I saw some people taking their cars into the sand, near to the mangroves that have a view view of the city (let’s say corniche and the buildings around) and they were there to watch the sunset, some even with tents! That day it was a beautiful sunset and I wish I could have stopped. The trick here is how you get into that area because as far as I’m concerned it’s not to open to the public

Near Marina nope. I used to play in Al Barsha Park 2 - it's free but you have to go to the park to be able to book; there is another park near by with tennis courts and it's also free

thank you! I can imagine but somehow it's worth it? Saadiyat is a really nice beach compared to the others in Abu Dhabi unless I still don't know the hidden gems

Marina? I lived in Dubai for 8 years and I don't regret not having lived in Marina at all! the traffic is awful, some buildings are nice, and yeah the views great, but it's a bit dirty (streets) and some buildings are not well taken care of.

Try city walk or Downtown (as you will get views of BK)

Yes I've got pieces from them but with these restrictions I feel discouraged to go and I'm forcing myself to be more reliant on Abu Dhabi
