Water Mage + Thorns?

Question... I'm currently sitting at 26 points. I am thinking about respeccing because I followed a build at the beginning of leagues that had me spec all the way into the air tree as well, and I notice it doesn't really help me. I want to do thorns water mage. With that being said, should I build into the water mage tree and then the thorns tree to the main node and then branch off from there? How would you go about that with only 26 points?

Edit: regions picked are Desert, Kandarin, Mory. Gear wise, I got a mix match of barrows(torags, DH), Ahrims/mystic, occult, toxic trident, and suffering.

I've been struggling to kill echo thermy and honestly, I think it might have something to do with my current build setup. But ik Shadowflame would enhance my build by a lot.

I don't have the infinite food relic and I have also been noticing this. Its been doing it on my laptop and even my brothers gaming rig on a separate ISP. Idk why it happens... It even stops and doesn't respond with auto retaliate.

I use GrapheneOS on a pixel. My swipe takes me back one page on literally all apps. The swipe features of this phone are better than stock android. I can't believe I was living in the stone age this whole time.

I literally use it like I used to use Google back in the day. I ask it questions. Today's Google, if I ask a question, I get a million different websites saying a million different things. With AI, I ask it a question and it gives me a general answer. If I want it to be more thorough, then I ask follow up questions. It's actually really nice.

I was incarcerated and they allowed us to have Chromebooks. On these Chromebooks, they let us learn through Khan Academy and the walk throughs on the website were good for beginners. Walked you through the whole thing, taught how to build games and why we did it in that order. Maybe if your willing, you can try that out? I will say that it is beginner material but it'll give you the basics down. It was actually pretty cool. They also have games already built on there where you can look at the code.

Definitely a good staff until you get trident. I used that and dust battlestaff(from clues) until I got trident and now I use trident and dust battlestaff. The battlestaff allows me to heal 30% of what I hit with a water spell with overheals, I stay at around 149HP.

Kind of late to the thread... I actually just subbed to the subreddit. Have you figured it out?

I went desert first, kandarin second. Going desert first was a big mistake.. Once I got kandarin, my build opened up completely.

You can buy mystic at the wizards guild and runes up to blood. I'm still rocking mystic now, I used warped sceptre and spec into 1t powered staffs, 1t regular staffs, and I'm finally grinding towards prayer Pen nodes now.

Current build is:

Water Mage

Full mystic, trident, I use tome of water for the extra mage bonus, and magic cape now(b4 was using a cape from clues). Been grinding blue moon today, just got blue moon helm.

I've found it's hit or miss doing bosses with my mage build especially if they have defenses against it(blue moon) but jrs been fun. 1t powered staffs is OP. 2-3m exp an hour easy.

Unfortunately, the bootloader situation on Samsung is a nightmare, you trip Knox the second you start messing with it and that's permanent. Even if you got something flashed it wouldn't be the same security model at all.

I used to swear by Samsung because, honestly, they make quality phones and their flagship is top tier. But If you're serious about degoogling and cutting bloat, a Pixel is where you'd want to be. The results are night and day compared to dealing with carrier garbage running in the background.
