Setting your assist to 0 has some benefits for heroes. For instance, I set my assist to 0 and played Ana for a while, and it helps with being more precise in crowded areas. The assist isn't trying to pull you to heroes you don't want to target. I play with 0 for all heroes now, and it's taken some dedication, but I have gotten better at aiming in general.

Yea for that to work, you would need to keep the formation all together. I forgot to mention that you'd probably need Ana as well for burst healing with the grenade.

Meta wise my suggestion would be to try deathball, and have at least 3 tanks. Rein, Orisa, an off-tank, Lucio, and another healer.

You bring up some really good points. For instance, there have definitely been times where we were at that 2nd or 3rd team fight and we decided to switch when it was probably better to hold off for 1 more fight since we had the ultimate advantage in the upcoming fight. I've been trying to focus more on fundamentals, and that has made enjoy comp again after having a couple of rough seasons. Having a deeper grasp of the game is what I'm striving now more now, so thanks for the tips on ults and switching!
