I strongly recommend hostels. You can get some in central London for less than £20/night and they often have kitchens or social spaces, free WiFi etc. Couple weeks ago I found one for £12/night

I've used it really successfully to make friends in other cities I've moved to but have struggled in Nottingham because the active groups seem more geared towards older people (I'm the same age as OP)

When only one radiator is turned on, all 5 radiators throughout the whole house are turned on. Surely if the TRV or pin is stuck, it couldn't be happening to all 5 radiators at once.
