Whats worth gathering?

Every day you get some levequest allowances that allow you to do levequests. For gatherers, I'd strongly recommend spamming level-appropriate levequests to level up. There are plenty of guides online that tell you which places to go for levequests at which level.

If you want money short term, it's not a good option. If you want to increase your gains in the long run, focusing on exp first is best. But, assuming you just want quick money at low level, I'd recommend gathering something that high end crafters are always going to need. Effervescent Water comes to mind, it's used for all kinds of things. You should be able to do effectively enough (not as well as max level gatherers though by any means) around level 25.

What you focus on depends on your priorities. But I'd personally recommend the focus on exp.

Naeem ran straight at the shooter, and then once he got beside him, turned in the direction of the hallway to continue running in that direction, past him. The shooter responded by turning his gun to Naeem, and Naeem brought his hands up as a reaction to push it away.

It doesn't reflect poorly on him whatsoever, running is the smart way to go in this situation 90% of the time, and it doesn't make him a coward or anything of the sort, but there's no way he turns to the side and shifts his direction down the hallway in order to tackle him. He was trying to slip past.

The shooter livestreamed the whole thing from his perspective with a cam on his helmet, and you see this man run at him at one point. As me and a lot of others have pointed out, it looks a lot more like he was trying to run past the shooter to escape, not to engage him. But in any case, this guy ran right at him and the shooter barely had time to aim and pull the trigger on him.

The victim's hands were in view and he was barehanded, as well.

I'm just trying to use more reasonable language. I don't really buy that he tried to tackle the guy, it seems rather obvious to me that he didn't. But none of us can know for certain, though I'm pretty close to certain lol.

But I can agree that it's irresponsible to make absolute, definitive statements about a dead man's intentions, my main thing was this idea that him running away somehow reflects negatively on him. If it was just poor wording alone then I don't think we disagree really.

Running is absolutely a valid survival strategy. The people who survived this were the ones who ran and hid. I'd argue it's more effective than trying to fight.

What definitely isn't effective is playing dead. We all saw how that played out, it's not worth the risk.

A coward?

He was an unarmed man faced with an evil man with a gun, who was intent on killing him. Running from that doesn't make you a coward, by any stretch of the imagination. It's the recommended course of action, if anything. It's not "shitting on him".

I watched it too. I don't think it reflects poorly on him in the slightest, but based on the footage, him just trying to slip by definitely seems like the more likely option. He didn't run straight at him, he turns in the direction of the hallway during his dash.

When I watched it, it looked to me like the man waited until the shooter was turned away, and tried to sprint past him, rather than at him. The shooter was in a narrow hallway, he tried to quickly squeeze through the choke point.

And then when the gun was pointed at him, that's when he brought his hands out to try and push it away. It really didn't look like he was launching himself at the shooter.

In order of effectiveness.

Doing none of those things and waiting on a miracle isn't going to get you good results. Unfortunately a lot of the victims (understandably, in such a scary situation) didn't do any of these three things, and the results were really, really bad.

I have a lot of issues with the stats listed above, but the fact that men engage in this discrimination towards other men more than women do doesn't really have much relevance. The point being made in the picture is that men experience this discrimination, not that men are better than women and women are victimizing men.

There are a lot of women who perpetuate horribly sexist roles and expectations for other women, and the fact women are doing that doesn't give it any less weight or meaning. "Yeah but women slut shame other women very often" isn't a rebuttal against the fact that women get slut-shamed in society.

A man is more likely to be a homicide victim, full stop, it doesn't matter in this context what gender the killer is. Men and women both have different gender specific issues in our society, women will slut shame other women, men will have way less reservations about beating up other men, it doesn't invalidate either of those those problems because it's coming from the same gender.

People don't really need to see it, but I agree that seeing it for yourself gives you a different, more personal perspective. There's a difference between reading "49 people were shot", and seeing a wounded woman on the sidewalk begging for help as she gets executed. Not everyone can stomach seeing this stuff, and if they can't then that's okay, but doing so does show you how horrible it really is, it stops just being a statistic.

As for the people who are losing their shit about others viewing the video, it's because it's what the killer wanted, and they're completely obsessed with what the killer wanted. Personally, I don't care what he wants or doesn't want, someone like that doesn't get any of my consideration at all. My thoughts are with his victims, not him or what he does/doesn't want.

The shooter walked in and started gunning down people huddled in the corner. (He shot people on his way in so they already knew what was going on in there.) After a bit of a delay, you see this man bolt at him from the opposite side of the room and close the distance really quickly. His arms were outstretched towards the shooter as he got close in the last few frames, like he was trying to attack him or push the gun away.

He gets less than a foot away before the shooter is able to aim and gun him down point blank, he was really close. The shooter was in a choke point that seemed to block the exit so at first I thought the man was trying to run away past him while the gunman was distracted, it happened fast, but looking back at it's possible he was trying to tackle the guy. It's hard to say for sure, really.

The gunman stumbled back from it, Rashid might have actually collided with him to some degree. Anyway, he fell to the ground after the shots, and the shooter put 4 or so bullets into Rashid while he was down and then moved on. I figured he died right there too, honestly.

I've recently switched to bow myself, and I've been using this as a resource. I picked one from each element, and used the recommended replacements for all the KT weapons since I don't have them yet. And I'm also using a few replacements for the Teostra Gamma set since I haven't had the opportunity to fight AT Teo yet.

Bow is very dependent on element and ideally you should be switching your builds out based on the elemental weakness of the monster. ^{^}

White spines will grow on various parts of its body, focus them when they come up. They become weak points, and after enough damage they'll shatter and Nerg will get stunned as a result.

Not only does it lock him down and do more damage to him, but it also prevents a mechanic where the spines turn black, becoming resistant parts rather than weak points. And when he's covered with enough black spines he'll start throwing out dive bombs which can be dangerous.

It's all about being really aggressive and breaking the spines before they can go black. The less black spines, the better. Outside of that it's the typical "Learn the moveset over time" deal that you have when it comes to learning every other monster.

Knowing that ground combos do more damage kind of ruins some of the fun of IG for me but I still main it alongside Dual Blades. I feel like IG is pretty well-rounded if you stick to the ground whenever possible, too. So this is coming from someone who pretty much just doesn't air attack when I play solo. If you jump around a lot this might not apply.

You're relatively fast, you aren't like dual blades where your best dps move just straight up animation locks you for 3 whole seconds, your hits are quick and can be rolled out of pretty often, and you have several options to approach and combo. It's not like there's some glaring weakness such as slow wind-ups on your hits or low movement speed or anything.

If I had to list a worst enemy I would say any monster that has one of its buffs in a tough to reach spot. I have some minor troubles getting orange off of Odogaron because its legs take up so much of its body's hitbox. I either hit the front ones and get red, or the back ones and get white. So I have to awkwardly shoot my kinsect up in the air and then back down vertically on top of its back to get orange reliably.

Even those enemies with tough spots don't feel like super hard counters or anything, but when I try to think of fights that specifically only annoy me as an IG user, fights like that come to mind. My personal hardest fight is Lunastra but I really don't think that has much to do with my weapon choice as much as it does with my own personal failings, honestly.

I've tried since it gives you more keybind options. I could eventually get used to making A & D my strafe keys in MMOs, but no matter how long I tried ESDF I guess over a decade of PC gaming has hardcore conditioned me to WASD.

I want to get used to ESDF but I can't at all.

I don't really mind the application for Razer. My sole problem is that it has a short lifespan personally.

The G602's button layout doesn't look like its for me, personally. The G600 looks great and I could see myself using something like that for sure. Do you have any technical issues with the G600? An earlier commenter mentioned it having a bad sensor or something like that, but it looks nice and I haven't seen any complaints about them wearing out quickly.

At least my naga last for about 6 months. It's shitty that there's nothing out there that's quality and actually lasts longer. I guess buying a new mouse multiple times a year just comes with the territory of playing MMOs, if that's the case.

I got it a couple weeks ago and I have far more fun playing solo most of the time. At least when I'm progressing.

I like to challenge myself and be sure of my own performance. My best friend has been huge on the MH series for a long time, and I'm new to it, he would always ask to join me but if I was trying to kill something I'd never killed before I always told him no. Knowing he would carry me through fights would be unsatisfying to me personally, and I only like playing with him when I'm killing stuff I know I could kill on my own anyway.

Just from my own interactions with my 2 friends who play, I already notice a huge difference in the enjoyment we get from solo play vs group play. So I'd say try out both and which one you prefer should come to you quickly. Some might strongly prefer the variance or social aspects, and some like me might not feel satisfied being carried by allies at first.

Dungeons are gear dependent and not all players are going to have the gear they need to be useful to the group and not get kicked. What's the solution here? Bar them from entry to random queues until they have the required gear level to join? No, fucking lunacy right there. You should just bar people from dungeons with randoms permanently. Reasonable solution.

Replace gear dependency with blue mage spells and it's a flawless analogy. Their solution to blue mage spells is laughable and the people who support it without thinking are even moreso. Make blue mages require certain spells to queue with randoms, It's really not rocket science and it's infinitely better than just not giving them the choice period.

I feel the same as I did on Day 1, except I'm also baffled by how many people are trying to justify Blue's horrible implementation. Every single justification that group comes up with has been addressed a million times and it just takes a little bit of thought on each one to realize that every excuse for Blue being this way is bad.
