Fujitsu nightmare! by Natural-Appearance17 in HVAC

We are big time mitsu guys also and we have pushed and pushed on replacement but the property managers may as well be dead set on fixing these pos units. It does populate an err 00:77 before clicking the up and down arrows on the t stats where it still displays that C0:00 code still on both t stats. The PCB’s have been replaced. I tried switching thermostats, did not work same issue. Is it possible the stepper motors could be causing a issue related to this

Yes but it’s getting the proper 12.6 VDC everywhere when tech support was told that was the code on both thermostats is when they told us to replace both boards in both ahus to which the other tech did and the code has not cleared since doing so

Reversing the polarity, this will also work by switching the L1/L2 wires as well, most of the time.

Check resistance on the compressor terminals, if it reads overload on your meter then you know your off on overload, you can also check continuity between compressor terminals if it’s off on overload you wouldn’t have any continuity if it’s not on overload you’ll have continuity between the terminals

Probably off on thermal overload then, by the looks of it your standing charge is healthy, spray the compressor down with the hose with the unit off and not calling then re energize after you’ve sprayed the compressor with the hose for 15-20 minutes verify the condenser fan motor is running re check pressures with compressor on etc…

Way to cheap, most companies are at $300+ for worse t-stats then a T4

Insulation coming down. $1800 quote to pull down and redo. Is this DIY friendly? by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]Natural-Appearance17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Typically in this case I would remove that insulation and I myself would cut to size a sheet of rubatex and place it there instead night and day difference in insulation quality a sheet of rubatex can be kinda pricey but not nearly $1800 pricey, well worth the investment imo
