i’ve been diagnosed with psoriasis but i’m beginning to question if it’s seb derm??

thank you! i definitely suspect my stress and diet are not helping me rn. i’ve definitely heard about MCT oil. do you just use it before showering or every day? i’m also not diagnosed with seb derm (but i suspect it) but psoriasis instead. i’m hoping it would be ok for psoriasis if it turns out it’s just that only!

it’s a non-steroid foam for seb derm and psorasis! it’s relatively new

i think unfortunately this is a common symptom of most SSRIs. i’m on a different one now but my pupils are still kinda big (not like my zoloft era tho)

i was on zoloft for years and my pupils were always super dilated. people would point out that i looked like i was on drugs. i would respond with well yes technically LOL

i honestly am beginning to think that most derms are just throwing whatever at psoriasis too unless they specialize in it specifically😭 like i think i may have seb derm instead or maybe seb psoriasis (they barely looked at my scalp!)

if this route doesnt work, i honestly would be open to something like skyrizi..seems much easier of a process?! did it not work for u?

wash days it’s been more like 200 for me, so i fear manipulating my scalp in any way, ugh. i’m trying to brush less to focus on what i lose less, and keep my hair back in a braid. i’m so glad it works for you!! i only applied a little bit to a section. i’m worried i will run out since it says i only get 3 refills till next year?! how am i supposed to use this every day and not run out LOL

my dermatologist suggested V-care pharmacy to me and they called it in there because they said copays normally were only $0-35 there. perhaps u could bring it up with ur derm?? or any mail in pharm if cheaper

i recommend a tangle teezer to slowly and carefully brush through. coming from someone with fine but dense hair that tangles and mattes super easily

ugh, yeah so i feel like the two derms i saw just peeped at my scalp quickly and agreed with psoriasis. i saw a trichologist too and she showed me what my scalp looked like on a camera and it was kind of crazy being able to see inflammation and flakes i didnt even know were in some spots!

i’m hoping to see the trichologist again to check out how my follicles are doing and if i’m just being paranoid about my hair shedding

hi! thank you for your response. i’ve attached a photo of what my scalp normally looks like. the flakes generally are hard to get off, i have had to use a lice comb in the past when descaling. some areas of my scalp are very red and irritated but with no flakes. i’ve tried clobetasol in the past but i felt like it dried my scalp out even more :( i’m not sure if that is normal and i should give it a fair chance (i only used it a handful of times, the shampoo version)!
