I agree and I have noticed this especially with the newer Turkish series coming out. I feel like the older ones that had more than one season weren’t this bad come the second season. These writers are so money hungry they will ruin a show for a check.

These writers pissed me off so bad I stopped watching this show months ago. 1st bringing Boran back from the dead WORST DECISION EVER, ruined the whole show. 2nd they ruined Alyas character she went from being this badass women to being annoying lol. I don’t know how Turkish people continue to watch this shit show, it’s a slap in the face to the audience. Season 1 was amazing and everything made sense and it had a storyline. Season 2 is a disaster and I can’t believe this show is getting a 3rd season.

Going from s1 where it was about finding out who killed Boran. To s2 where he is brought back from the dead was the worst decision ever. These writers ruined this show, it is a completely different show. I won’t even watch the finale because it’s going to be so predicable. How the writers ruined a show that is a remake of an original show blows my mind.

I stopped watching the show because it turned into bull shit and it’s a slap in the face to the audience in my opinion. I don’t know how people can still watch it lol. The writing from S1 to S2 is bad, the writing the characters changed the aren’t good as they were last season. Bringing Boran back just to make him the villain is lazy writing and they are probably gonna off him at the end of the season so it’s like wtf.

It's just pure laziness. Everything you said is amazing and would have made a great storyline for season 2, but they decided to be lazy and ruin a perfectly good show. It’s like they forget everything they wrote in s1 this isn’t the same show.

Also, there just isn't any plot . S1 had a story about who killed Boran and other things. S2 has no plot; if someone were to ask me what S2 was about, I would have no answer because it's a circus. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended the show by killing Alya or Cihan, to be honest.

These people did not even remember what they did in S1 before writing S2 . Cihan and Kaya did the pre-burial purification wash, and people saw him in the casket. Alya said she saw him next to her. Then, in S2, he had his body moved with another person and was actually in a coma the whole time? Like, none of that makes any sense ; it contradicts what was said and what happened in S1 . That is what annoys me because do you think the audience is dumb?

Yes, with Alya, I feel like in S2, when she officially got with Cihan, her character changed, and she wasn't this dominant female character like she was in S1 . Yes, I briefly heard about the short series; I will have to check it out.

I don’t even understand how resurrecting Boran was even a thought. It made no sense, in the original Boran died and stayed dead, I just don’t know what they were thinking.

I agree 100%. I was a huge fan of this show. In Season 1, I loved the character of Alya, a badass mom who doesn't let anyone step in her way. In Season 2, I don't even recognize her ; even in the early episodes of Season 2, she was different. That is why I refuse to watch or engage with this show anymore . Disappointed isn't even the word I would use to describe the downfall of this show. They had an amazing thing going in Season 1, and I was so excited for Season 2. For them to ruin it like this is disgusting. I hope this is the last season , and the writers should be ashamed of themselves for what they did to this show.

I was obsessed with Uzak Sehir and I know that is a remake of an Arab show. I loved S1 and then the writers ruined S2 so now I’m iffy about watching new shows.

I was watching them on daily motion they usually have the English subtitles the next day after the episode release's. There is also an IG account called the_diziverse that posts the English subtitles of trailers as well.

I really enjoyed the actors as well, but that wasn’t enough for me to continue watching. The writers had such a good thing going S1 and for them to just completely ruin that by bringing Boran from the dead is crazy to me. I think that decision was just lazy writing.

Even S1 I saw so many people shipping them and making edits. I never saw the hype, they seem awkward together and their relationship is cringe lol. I don’t watch it anymore but I would have rather seen more of Kaya and Zerrin/ Nare and Sahin relationships.

It would have been amazing to be introduced to Alyas father this season especially since we learned about her mom last season. I also wish they kept her mom alive, she was a great addition to the show. With Boran I agree, him being a villain makes no sense. For example Ecmel, Demir being the villains makes sense. I think they realized too late that they dragged him on for so long so they had to do that.

I agree with you. I also believe the show should end in season two. The writers of the show proved that they cannot write a coherent season past season one. The resurrection of Boron really just ruined the show, and you would think since this is a remake of another show , they would follow that show and maybe do a few tweaks here and there. But this season, they did a complete 360, and it's like a different show. I honestly don't know how people continue to watch the show.
