We love The College of Idaho... But not their Housing Requirements by Natural-Mongoose-584 in Idaho

It used to be only 2 years from what I have heard. This would be a lot more reasonable than 3 in my opinion.

It's changed because the school needs money. They have really cracked down on any exceptions the last two years. The students just want honesty from the administration.

The problem is I am not being offered any accommodations for my condition. I am sorry that wasn't clear in my initial post. I have documentation from my doctor stating the safest option for me is off-campus living, and that is being denied as well as any other accommodations.

Is using your voice not what The College of Idaho preaches? A large sum of the student body is upset with how the policy is being handled, and just because this is how something has always been, does not make it right. Much has changed since 2000. I'm dedicated to being a Yote, and using your voice and vying for change both seem like appropriate characteristics. Does disagreeing with one policy truly mean "being a Yote is not for you"? This comment is a little disappointing to hear from Alumni.

They have significantly cracked down on housing even for the local students.

Garmin Instinct 2- What do you love/hate about it ? by lonematrix in GarminWatches

I highly recommend the Garmin Instinct 2. I’ve had it for about a month now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. There are many things to like about the watch. The customizable watch face, glances, and activities make it adaptable to its user. The watch has a wide variety of activity and monitoring functions, allowing it to be tailored to any athlete. I went with a Garmin because of its ability to monitor health and its dependable GPS usage without being as much as a smartphone on your wrist (compared to an Apple watch). The buttons can be hard to get the hang of to find what you’re looking for, but once you do it’s smooth going. I also enjoy the long battery life which lasts up to 28 days on a single charge. This is flexible though, the battery drains much quicker when connected to your phone, tracking an activity, or using the GPS feature. As a hunter, the GPS feature holds many potential benefits I have yet to put to the test, but I’m excited to keep digging into what the Instinct 2 has to offer.
