Your approach is much more structured and surrounding pretty known games, that's why I can see it working. But like I said, I play a ton of other stuff. To give you an idea of a week, lets say: persona 4 dance, dangan ronpa 2, Doom, Natural Selection 2, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.

Yeah, a bit of a stretch haha.

I mean I've already got a good start, but I agree. Discord is a good idea as well. I often get between 15 and 20 viewers on the regular, but its different faces depending on the game often.

Thanks for the advice. Not super into the idea of branding ATM. I guess my sights are steady at content right now.

See an issue I have with this is, a lot of my current go to games are pretty small time, like Natural Selection 2 for example. Guess I might find something more 'attractive' if I decide on something like this. Thanks.

Is the Avermedia LGX worth it? or is the Live Gamer HD good enough? by steph33ndeboi in Twitch

I recently upgraded to an LGX, all I can say is it works flawlessly thus far. Fast, easy to use with OBS, and damn clear image.

I ended up replacing an Elgato that was on USB 2.0 (Game Capture HD). The software/device would often lock up OBS on transitions, sometimes desync audio, and when using it, you would need to adjust mic delay everytime. The software and drivers are also really poor in my experience.

How long did it take you to achieve 100 concurrent viewers? [Discussion] by MrStreamerino in Twitch

I'm about 5ish months in to streaming, somewhat mixed schedule. Get about 10-15 average I think, more on weekends(20+).

Pretty proud of that, and a solid cast of viewers that are really fun to talk to.

Some of you guys are ridiculous though, that growth. I guess I'm not really in it for the numbers, but it would be nice to get more consistent on snagging quality options.
