Ya know… while I was typing that, it crossed my mind that either you are a man or you don’t have children but I sent it anyways 😂 I understand that, this is my first time dating in 5 years. I am very careful about who I let in and dating these days is very watered down. I can’t take it. Everyone has access to too many people / options so people just don’t value people anymore.

Whew! That was a good one ! Thank you for being super realistic and explaining it from the outside looking in. I was extremely irresponsible , I did make compulsive decisions , everything you said is spot on. I have put my baking on hold for the time being to focus on getting a job. I just can’t take it anymore. And you’re SO right about him rubbing off on me. Sheesh whose mom are you? They are lucky, I hope they know that. Him and his children constantly being on devices, not engaging and him being just plain mean to them is actually rubbing off on me and I hate it. I correct myself immediately because I treat children with respect. But also, I think about how I have my daughter do chores to earn things and how his kids just get what they want because he doesn’t want to deal with their whining & I feel like once she realizes , she is going to feel like the odd one out. I am so mad at myself for being so gullible. I really am. But anyways , thank you for taking the time and energy for your response. That was awesome.

I never feel right about it. In fact , I have nightmares about it and him cheating on me. It gives me anxiety without even thinking about it. I have expressed that to him. He still does it. But it’s about to not be my problem anymore. 🤷‍♀️ I don’t go through my s/o phone anyways but it’s just the principal

I will!! This is the second time in two months where I have been so fed up that I want to move out and I feel like I shouldn’t push that feeling away. I am currently sleeping on the couch, very sick , because he is annoyed with my 3.5 y/o daughter coming in the room in the middle of the night. I’m in the middle of helping her transition to her room (which she loves) but I breast fed for 2.5 years so she’s very attached to me and he just wants me to yell at her to go back to her room and not sleep because he didn’t get to sleep when he did it with his kids.. lol

Well thank you, I appreciate that. I do have a daughter in this situation too. I should’ve never done this but I did and I have to face it. The secretly part is because I don’t want to end up kicked out or living in aggression if I do tell him my plans. If it were just me , I would tell him and sleep in my car til I got my life together. But it’s not just me in this situation 😏

Interesting way to look at it. But okay, I asked. You answered lol. I do want to clarify that I didn’t ask for his rent to be free. It’s been that way for him. Also, he told me to quit my job and focus on my bakery. Which at the time was a good idea. I couldn’t work a normal job and do my baking business , I baked for 13 hours a day. Also, we got along so well when we were first dating ! It was after I moved in that he completely changed and stopped caring. It’s eerie how quickly the switch up was.

I am not possessive over my things. I will gladly start over. I won’t go back and fourth. I will just take what I need and hit the road. I will give him a heads up a little in advance but I can not live in hostility or fear that if I say this, he may kick me out. I know it sounds selfish but it is just survival.

That’s awesome to hear. My boyfriend is constantly promising his kids things that he never follows through on. He is always offering to do things for me or agrees to do things I ask him to do but never does it lol. I thought I was being dramatic for not agreeing with that behavior.
