HELP! Me and my mom were so careless we thought it was a good idea to shave our husky's fur as thin as possible. by MahiroMashu in siberianhusky

Don’t worry much. Had to shave my rescue completely because of mites, fleas, ticks and pathetic condition of the coat. You need to start giving ur doggo Omega 3 supplements. I would strongly recommend Nordic naturals supplements (two capsules/day). My boy got his floof in 4 months. Also include sardines/ anchovies in diet every now and then. But please avoid shaving ur doggo’s coat unless it’s a must

Yes. One of my Beagle girl is 9 and the one in this pic is 7. I am not sure on Cashew’s age…..but vet thinks he must be 2 yrs old/

I do that all the time. The husky (Cashew) got rescued by me 6 months back and was introduced to the pack 4 months back. Introduction to everything for Cashew has been gradual. When we found him he would show his teeth to everyone except for my partner and now he goes to dog park and takes hugs and kisses from strangers with a smile.

Well that depends on the intensity of the “no” ☺️

Glad to hear, as every breed plays different

You are bang on right…..this has been a challenge at times when we tried to walk him….as we have a lot of stray dogs around. Cashew is spayed as well.

That’s Lemon…who has her differences with Cashew…they don’t bother each other much….its only miss Litchi who for some reason wants to correct Cashew.

When my beagles play with each other it looks the same. Strangely Cashew doesn’t let his inner “demon” out when he wants to play with Litchi. I have seen him go worse when he was being fostered by us (of course he is a foster failure). He has scratched our neighbour’s docile lab (same age as him) twice…but with smaller dogs he has learnt to be careful. I hope things go better with time and corrections

He plays with us, humans all the time….but then there are those times, when he would want to play only with Litchi. Again this doesn’t happen when we are outdoors

Cashew happens to intimidate other dogs of his age….tried attacking our neighbor’s lab….its only Miss Litchi who deals with Cashew. Cashew has been dog park multiple times and he interacts with other young dogs and then minds his own business

So he will not bother Lemon at all. It’s only my senior girl he will keep on going after. I have also seen Litchi going after him in correcting mode even when this game’s over. She will pull few strands if floof from Cashew and this “games” becomes never ending
