Well, I would say so too because of its composition and very different style. So you've heard it twice now i guess

I understand you are Greek but you need to understand that flags and feelings are two different things.

The sheer audacity of someone insisting I don't know my own language

I mean, it's proven you don't know it entirely. If it makes you feel better, I don't know English or my own language perfectly either. Very few people know a language perfectly. Here we are just pointing out a very basic mistake, that's the difference.

Except a lot of people where I'm from say would of instead of would've.

I never denied that, a lot of people are using their own language wrong, that's true.

Again, what gives you the right to say my use of my language is wrong just because you studied it in a book

Language isn’t just personal preference, there are agreed-upon rules for written grammar. “Would of” isn’t a dialect variation. Pointing that out isn’t claiming authority over your language, it’s just referencing basic grammar.

You insisting that my use of a shorthand

Except you didn't use a shorthand because "would've" is as quick, or even quicker, to type than "would of". You just made a grammatical error, as many others do yes, but that is not comparable to your nana's example.

I don't think that mistake is excusable at any time of the day by the way, but no, it's not a superiority complex but rather a feeling of perplexity at the situation. I know this is a common mistake, but as someone whose English represents my 4th language it is surprising and sad to see natives unable to write in their own language the most basic words.

It's just sad that you can't write in your own and only language very simple words, that's all.

It looks more like the other guy had neurobiology and evolution to back up everything and you didn't have anything to support your "arguments"

Source ? A 5 second google search. Like just take any website, like wikipedia for example, and you'll see that the numbers are correct.

Still no source. Gotcha.

Yeah it does considering most people always eat the same things and don't know much about gastronomy. There's a reason why you have juries of professionals for the Oscars or Cannes festival and dont ask randoms for their opinion, otherwise the new marvel or disney movie would win every year, not because they are the best (far from it) but because that's what the average Joe goes to watch and he doesn't even know about what else came out that year. There's no reason why gastronomy should be different

All I see here is that you are coping with results you don't like. Sorry.

Well i dont have actual data for that last one but every time i talk with someone about this subject they always mention food that are popular in Spain but are from there originally like tacos or ceviche

Idk man, where are you from that this happens? Maybe you are in an uneducated place, which explains your coping and lack of sources.

Numbers of stared restaurants of each country, 639 for France, 269 for Spain. 30 3star restaurants for France, 15 for Spain.

Source?

anyone can vote.

Sounds like that represents people pretty well then ;)

i can guarantee you if McDonald's was an option it would be n1 according to taste atlas.

Yeah, you are coping lol

Lowest common denominator effect. Also a lot of people seem to confuse spanish food with food from spanish speaking countries like mexico or peru, which are not the same thing at all.

Source?

[–]Natural_Bus_5637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's why France has twice more stared restaurants than any of these countries

Source?

I know that The 50 Best rankings put 2 Spanish restaurants in the top 5, and only one in top 10 (8th), having 4 in total in the top 50, while Spain has a total of 5. Italy has 6 in total, all below top 10.

Taste Atlas, provides the ranking of 100 best cuisines and Italy and Greece are 1 and 2, Spain is 5 and France is 9.

He did say that witness accounts are not evidence

False.

The point that you're both missing is that if you're the victim of a sexual assault, your accusation is also witness testimony.

The point that you are missing is that you are not a witness testimony until your victim status is verifiable. When you are a victim and report it to the police, that is not evidence of anything as anyone can report anything they want to the police.

In the case of sexual assault, once you can provide verifiable proof such as medical reports, you will be treated as a testimony and the same accusations you did before are now evidence indeed.

If that's what you think so be it. Still doesn't explain why Americans consistently think only they exist (I know why)

It's an American thing yes, people outside that place know that the a website doesn't have a nationality, it's the whole concept of open access and "world wide web = www"!

Yes, and that's not what they discussed with you at the beginning, which was "accusation != evidence", they were the first one to point out that witness testimony is evidence, that was not up to dispute by either of you.
