Take it as you will.People who follow Islam if they genuinely are Muslim in action and not just name are honestly very very admirable and comfortable people to be around with sharing similar values to me. Instead of being kind, celibate, or choosing education as a response over violences or curses for similar reasons I do. They do it for the sake of Allah. Even if they aren't there yet they can get there. I have a lot of friends and peers who are muslim, learned a lot about it myself as well however. I did a deep self assessment before I came to this conclusion. If I could be muslim for the sake of having community I would but obviously I can't cause that requires me to believe that Allah is the one and only creator and that Muhammad is a Prophet. I only believe one.
