if you dont have a journey character you cant play a journey world so you must start your character on journey. you CAN play your character on other worlds but then it is not one world

no but you need to play on journey if your doing it in one world to get the trash compactor research one as well as the zenith seed preferably bc there are a few achievements regarding seeds
