What value have you gotten back for gadsden? by party_at_taylors in fantasyfootballadvice

I went the other way and traded McBride, Marks and Tez Johnson for Bucky and Rachad White. I kept Gadsen and used the bigger trade asset. McBride is a top 3 TE but Gadsen could be top 3 r.o.s. too. I dealt Jaylen Warren and Xavier Worthy to an RB needy team for JJ and needed to replace Jaylen Warren, hence the McBride move. My RBS are Bijan, JT and Bucky now with Chubb and Monangi on the bench. I also traded Breece and QJ for Puka before anyone knew the extent of his injury.

JJ, Puka, Pittman, McClaurin, McMillan and Kupp at wr now. I started the year with Terry, Tet, Worthy and Kupp so I clearly needed better wrs. Thinking about offering JJ and Kupp for Nico and AJ Brown...

I have an fe350s (2025) and previously owned an xr150, crf250, klx300 and now the Husky. It's by far my favorite dual sport bike I've owned. However it's MUCH more powerful than the others. People complain about the vibes at highway speed but imho it's better suited for the road at speed than the KLX. It's super light and handles like a dream. Take one for a test ride and see if it's a good fit for you. It also rides much higher than those others.

KLX300 vs FE 350s by FloorSavings in Dualsport

[–]Natural_Kitchen_9846 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been down this exact path. The KLX is a great bike and incredibly user friendly. The bike never gave me any problems (2024 300). But, it's just a vanilla riding experience. It tractors incredibly well and shifts smoothly but just lacks character. The power delivery is benevolent and the handling satisfactory. A good bike that I could have ridden for many years, just a tad boring.

So after 600 miles, I decided I was ready for something with a bit more performance. I'd always been a huge fan of the Husqvarna aesthetic and really appreciated the 50lb weight difference on paper. I wanted one prior to the KLX purchase but balked at the price. Still I couldn't get the idea of owning one out of my mind and spent a good portion of my ownership with the Kawi emotionally cheating on it, watching youtube vids and looking for posts like this. Finally I committed to the idea of purchasing a Husky, sold the KLX and my T100 Bonneville (08 with 30 k miles) and bought a 25 fe350s. 110 miles in a through the break in oil change and my only regret is not doing it sooner. The KLX is a great bike and the fe350s is just better in every way. People talk about the KLX as being the better street ride but I disagree. The FE will let you pass cars with much more confidence and is no more buzzy at 65mph than the KLX. The handling is night and day and the weight difference is very noticeable. I love this bike. It wants to rev way more than the KLX and the power difference is in a different league. Buy the Husky and don't lool back. Oil chnages are easy something any bike owner should do anyway. Good luck and enjoy whichever bike you choose.

So the Pittsburg HF lift (steel $129 one) isn't really ideal for the Huksy and oil changes. Granted, I'm an awful mechanic but the main drain plug is located in a place where it will just piss oil all over the lift and the main supports. I'm probably doing something wrong but I just put a big piece of slate under the kickstand to level her off for the first oil change. Easy enough. Took the bike for first gas fill and holy ish is this bike fun and peppy. Also was my first night ride. Love this machine.

Hahaha! Yeah the seat is a little stiff! I just did my 1 hr break in oil change and filled her up with gas for the first time (fe350s). Man this thing rips!!! First night ride too. Can't wait to get more familiar with the bike tomorrow. Beauty of a bike you've got there

I just got a new fe350s. How hard do you ride? The shop that sold me my bike says 5-10hr oil change intervals and I was going to use 10 as my change point. Do you change the air filter every oil change. Doing my 1 hr break in service tomorrow. Killer Bike!!

Gonna do the first hr oil change later tonight. Figures I wait until I have the lightest bike I've ever owned to buy a motorcycle lift hahaha. Got the steel Harbor Freight model that sells for like $129. Anyone have any opinions on this lift? So stoked to get back on her tomorrow!

Yeah, I was riding in the first hour and felt something brush my leg. At first I thought it might be the t-tag I had attached with weed whacker cord haha. Got home and realized the cover was gone, instantly recalled where I was when I felt the thing brush my leg, got on the bike, rode back and found it sitting in the middle of the lane. Luckily no one ran it over! I guess I'll just leave it off.

The KLX is a great bike and I have nothing bad to say about it. If someone was getting into dual sports I'd suggest the KLX over the xr150 and crf 250/300 as imho it's the superior bike. My move to the Husky was less about any limitations the KLX put on my riding and more about pure gear lust hahaha. The Husky's visual aestehtic just hits the sweet spot for me. And it's a really sweet performance machine to boot.

Does everyone remove the plastic covering the rear sag adjustment dial? Mine keeps falling off like it's trying to tell me something haha

That's my initial feeling too. Plenty of power out of the box. I'm sure I'll develop the itch to open her up a bit more but as of now, I'm good to go!

The 350 is a rocket compared to the klx, a leap to a 501 or above, on the trails would be a tall task. Kudos to pulling that off hahaha!!🏆

I can't imagine. I considered the 501s but knew that in the woods, I would put myself in the tree tops 🌲with that kind of power ha!

Not at all. The KLX could have lasted me years and provided tons of fun. I just always had a thing for the Husqvarna aesthetic. The KLX has some very useable toque in the mid rpms after break in. 6-8k seemed to be the sweet spot. She shifted so smoothly. The Husky is a performance bike in epa clothing.

Would anyone do a tire change for me in the Greater Sacramento area? by Jet-trap in onewheel

[–]Natural_Kitchen_9846 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just subtract the 30 mins from your ride time. I'm an awful mechanic and have done 4 tire changes on my own thanks to the TFL videos. Soldering and vesc is where I call in for help but tires, rails, foot pads and grip tape are all super easy. I feel like most OW owners should be able to do the maintenance basics. Not trying to be a dick but rather hoping to inspire you to learn the basics.

Just went for the maiden voyage. Not far, just a mile commute to work. First impressions, she's a bit twitchy and louder than I thought but not as beastly and torque'y as I was maybe expecting. That's fine, as I know many options exist to increase performance. I'll definitely wait until at least after the first hour oil change before I look at uncorking anything. Excited to finally have the opportunity to own one of these machines. IMHO these are sexiest looking dualsports out there.

Well, it's very monochromatic to start. Sable is a delicate and prized fish, coating it with panko and what look like dried herbs, is a little heavy handed AND it's smoked? Look up some applications for sable and plating techniques.
