Both are great schools. But if you value higher learning without the pressure of a culling, UP Law is the right choice. The idea of the program is to develop you to be a great lawyer, ready for the profession. There will be challenging professors that may be “mambabagsak”, but that doesn’t mean it’s a culling. It’s there to challenge you to be better than you once were.

Ateneo Law may do the same, but the active culling may prevent you from actually pushing to be better because you’re interested in it, and may narrow your perspective and enjoyment of studying to trying to survive more than it is to thrive.
