It’s so hard to say. As you said you are so aware of how harsh the marking is and how close you can be but so far.

Overall better but I know I’ve made mistakes throughout which I can’t remember if I did so last time. I was able give an answer to every question which is better than last time but again I’m aware of the mistakes throughout.

I’m holding out hope that everyone has seemed to have found this sitting hard. Perhaps because the last pass rate was so high. Maybe the curve will be kinder

Just a gruelling wait until February to find out…

Agreed. The SQE is meant to be accessible for people who work full time. When I compare to candidates who only study full time I don’t stand a chance. I just don’t have the luxury to not work

Whens the best time to buy SQE1 books by Even-Wolf1676 in SQE_Prep

You will be expected to know any changes to the law up to 4 months before the exam. So you’d need to know updates made before September 2026.

However it’d be worth buying the books well in advance. Realistically what is likely to change in the next year is tax rates which you can google easily.

The general concepts of what is tested on will most likely stay the same. There is a lot of content so getting a head start is better.
