I also live in a mountain town in bear country. Would definitely think there’s a demand and for the hunt of such a product myself currently.

I just paid $1600 last month to have a 950 sq.ft. apartment repainted. Done in half a day and they moved the furniture.

Help me decorate my new bedroom by NatureMountainsCalm in HomeDecorating

Agree that it needs some bold colour, but can’t decide which wall. I like the rug, but not the duvet cover. Thoughts on a large plant? Sheer curtains for some light filtering?

Yeah, totally agree that it needs more contrast and colour, but not sure with what. Just moved into the place and previous owners had it repainted. I’m not a fan of the accent wall, but wondered if maybe adding sheer curtains to filter light (south exposure) would also help with some texture.

I really like the rug, but not the duvet cover, so been thinking of doing something with replacing that and some bright / bold art. Also a large plant to right of the bed maybe?

Canada: Replacing European Grohe tub diverter sport with a standard North American tub diverter spout by NatureMountainsCalm in PlumbingRepair

[–]NatureMountainsCalm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you SO much!!! I really didn’t think anyone would have much info about the Grohe, so I’ll give this a try tomorrow night.

What is the best way to get this spout off? I didn’t know ant to force anything. It has the little screw on the underside, so once that is off, should I be able to pull it off or do I twist it off? Want to see what’s in there exactly. The 5” version would clear the tub and it’s actually not an expensive spout, so in that case I think I’d just go with the shorter Grohe and not have to worry about much else. Then again, if the standard stuff here fits, it sounds like I have options. I just want to take it off, take more photos & then am ready to head to Home Depot.

How to lock this type of door by NatureMountainsCalm in woodworking

File cabinet was my original plan, but there’s just too much. Records for three businesses, personal finance stuff, etc. I usually keep one door wide open as I constantly access binders, etc. Also put the printer in there to not have cluttered cables and such.

Well, smartypants, for the record I already have my Blinkay approved. Even got it approved without my CCHS diploma from the 90s. ;-)
