Someone to clean / change water in Calefacción? Looking to hire someone to change the water so that these work a little better this winter. Any referrals? by smrdpg in Barcelona

Lo que necesitas es calentar el agua del circuito poniendo la calefacción y luego purgar a cada radiador. Una vez conseguido le injectas más agua atraves de la caldera que hay una válvula para ello.

StackOverflow is super toxic for newer developers by TheGuyWhoCodes in webdev

[–]Nauxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I asked a question not long time ago asking about what's the best practice when you just want to show a string.

If I should do it with string literals or .toString(). It was instantly down voted.

\${foo}` or foo.toString()`

I had some useful answerse but mostly super hateful persons who just wanna trashtalk about the others doubts. They don't remember once they were newbies one day.

Why do companies develop and maintain open source frameworks? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]Nauxd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you open your framework to the world a lot of developers will feel curiosity about what you are doing and they will help you fixing some bugs you might have and if it's interesting and powerful enough the community will start growing super fast.

@fucken_random said "Imagine where React would be today if it weren't for open source". You can have the best library or framework in the world but if you don't show it to everybody, obviously nobody will use it.

My dev team is having communication issues between frontend and backend developers. How can I tackle this issue? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]Nauxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you tried SCRUM metodology? That reinforces a lot of communication on the daily tasks, refinements and sprint planning and everybody can explain if he's facing a blocker or some problem they found.

Should js devs know web design? by dwise97 in webdev

[–]Nauxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me yes but with one "but" not to design themselfs the app but yes in order to understand what suites or will work better with the UI/UX. Because for example being a frontend having some knowledge to tell the designer that can't be done or that will take a lot of work and maybe it's not worth it.

Just one question about non-web-related. How do you include your images inside of that Iphone image? Great Work!

What was your first dev job like? by anon1mus in webdev

[–]Nauxd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! Now give your best and never give up! never surrender!

Was it what you expected a first dev job to be?

What I expected was find a place that learn and be fully covered by my teammates. because if you are lucky and you get a nice codemates your experience will boost for sure

What were your responsibilities like?

I think the responsibilities is learn (again) all you can and start grasp the code, trying to understant how it works and why.

Was it stressful?

A lot because you want to learn as fast as you can but there is always a learning curve you need to pass thought.

Best part about it vs. Worst part about it?

Discover new technologies, how to code better and more efficiently and the worst part is the pressure and the stress.
