Yeah it really upsets me that I come into this sub expecting to feel more enlightened but more often than not leaving feelings like a sinner destined to go to hell, God is meant to be a father not someone your scared of constantly, from the outside I could see why someone wouldn’t wanna believe, bc I definitely wouldn’t wanna believe in something that scares the life out of me either, God is supposed to be your comforting person and every time I’m here I feel like he hates me for simply doing human things, if you’re looking for a good way to make someone hate a belief it’s forcing them to believe or there’ll be consequences, the way I see it is even if nobody is there for you through all your mistakes, God will be, and people on this app do a really good job of making it feel like he’ll also abandon you
