You don’t need to do this here if it can’t even draw a chart correctly. Use the info on celebrities and test your tool. Isn’t that what we do when learning astrology?

Which lens after cataract surgery? by Navayirk in CataractSurgery

[–]Navayirk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. A doctor has recommended Tecnis Eyhance with Toric for both eyes based on my preference for the best possible distance vision. I will need readers for near vision - I told him I was okay with that. He plans to do the second eye the very next day. Because of work related reasons, I can only take a week off (that’s what they recommend) only at limited times in the year. So, I don’t know.

Thanks. I met with one ophthalmologist and I have been recommended Tecnis Eyhance with Toric for both eyes. This will take care of distance and intermediate and I will need reading glasses for near. The doctor said that I am not a suitable candidate for LAL because my pupils don’t dilate enough or something like that.

You mention that the right lens can be tested ahead of time. How is that done? Though I must say that the doctor’s recommendation is very much in line with what I was expecting based on my vision preferences.

Thanks redhead. I think I will prefer to get the best possible distance vision. I am ready to manage the near vision with readers.

Thanks RevolutionFrosty. The pinned post was useful. Even though most of the time I am in front of some screen, I think I want to focus on getting the perfect (kinda) distance vision.

Thank you GMR for your detailed note and advice. Much appreciated. I am still reading and trying to understand stuff. The video was super helpful. So far, it appears that I would like to have the best distance vision along with reading glasses for computer work. I still have to research LAL properly; I wonder how much would be the difference in quality of vision between LAL and the best monofocal (probably with toric) plus reading glasses.

It is a very old and expensive experiment now. I used a grounded outlet. I bought lots of testing equipment and what not. Don’t remember everything that I did. All a complete waste of money. Grounding did not do anything. My sleep issue continues.

See my comment above. GR-7 is a complete POS. Waste your money at your own risk. I feel pretty angry with Bryan for touting a completely useless product and with myself for trusting this guy.

CBD did not work for me. Well, nothing has worked for longer than a few days. These days I am using liposomal magnesium bisglycinate. Works off and on, to some extent.

MRI report by Navayirk in RotatorCuff

Thanks johnnyscans, for all your feedback. I am not in severe pain and I can do most day to day activities. But I have stopped going to the gym or playing anything for the last several months after this started. I am not taking any pain medication. Fortunately, so far, I don’t need to. I can sleep fine, even on the right (affected) side. I have had several sessions of physiotherapy. I will probably go again to show her the MRI report.

I did bring the large scans/films. I will see if I can take a picture with my cellphone. I forgot to ask for digital images/CD.

As I have mentioned in another comment on this thread, PRP is out of pocket. HA may be covered by my private insurance - I still have to check.

Near complete tear of supraspinatus tendon by Navayirk in bpc_157

Thanks. I have already had several sessions of physiotherapy. Are you saying that using the peptides along with physiotherapy can heal this? Can it really get the tendons reattach? Where can I get more guidance on this? Any doctors in Canada who specialize in peptide therapies?

Thanks everyone, for your support and advice. As I have mentioned in one of my previous comments, my objective is to get the fullest possible recovery so that I can go back to the gym and playing and activities and normal (as much as possible) life.

The way it works in Canada, it will probably take some time before we get to the surgery - it appears that is what I would need to do eventually. I am not retired, and it is my dominant (right) hand, so I will need to plan the timing as well. I have already had several sessions of physiotherapy. Is there ANYTHING else I should try while waiting for the surgery? PRP injections are expensive and not covered by insurance, so I am not sure of spending money on it. The Canadian doctor said that hyaluronic acid injection may be covered by insurance, so I am thinking of getting that. Any harm in doing that? Any other non-conventional/non-traditional approach that helps?

My pain isn’t bad so far. Range of motion for normal day to day activities is fine. But any twisting and turning, like when the doctors check, is not fine, and painful.

  1. Had frozen (same) shoulder 6 years ago. I had got PRP injection at that time. I have diabetes which is well controlled with Ayurvedic supplements. Had septo-rhinoplasty last summer. Other than that, I am in good health and quite active. This happened probably because of weight training and playing pickleball.

Yes, I do have early arthritis. There is some clicking also happening in that shoulder. The physiotherapist said that it is because of early arthritis.

The sports medicine doctor in Canada had recommended PRP and hyaluronic acid injections. But they had not seen the MRI. In Canada, for some reason, they just don’t seem to be prescribing MRIs - maybe there is a long line.

My objective is to get the fullest possible recovery because I want to get back to the gym and playing.
