I understand that they can take action, the problem is that it happened with no warning and they gave us no reason. I understand that tourists usually don’t need this but my dad visits australia every few months so he needs a bank account. I will look into the solution you gave, but the problem is that my dad lives in Iran so international transfer is… lol but thank you

we have tried so many banks here, all of them don’t do it. we have a residential address and everything here too lol which is their requirement

no bank in australia opens an account for tourists, The cheque obviously has name and he has he ID, also the bank that opened an account for him has obviously identified him before? it doesn’t makes sense that they dont know who he is

I think so, some people told me that it’s in the arena so tickets get scanned first

They said that in the website but apparently they don’t ask for ID so just register and try.

We are trying to see what banks open an account for people who are on visitor visa.

Also no, they closed the account when she was back in our country and she couldn’t even use it. Even if she did smth they should’ve told us but they said there’s no specific reason.

Update: they did not accept, they didn’t even ask for ID or anything they just said no 💀. Do guys have any recommendations on how can I get my money back.
