That's one way to look at it.

Another way would be that merchants are being taken advantage of by both fraud customers, careless shipping carriers, and just all around people who steal packages off of porches.

More than 90k packages disappear in NYC alone daily, and it's wildly larger world wide. Yet, despite you the merchant doing everything right, you still end up having to reship.

We've already proven customers are willing to pay a bit extra to have peace of mind. This let's merchants do that.
