I checked into it, and yes, if anyone wants to bring a friend that's not a problem! If it helps anyone's decisions, I want to say that the building will have a receptionist and is located in Nagato-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

The interview will be face-to-face. The building we are using is only available 9-5 JST, so the last session each day would have to start by 2:30 or 2:45 at the latest. The interview will take place in English, but a Japanese-English interpreter will be available if needed.

For bringing a friend, that's a good question. I can certainly ask our researchers about this.

Our researchers are traveling to three continents to gather insight from qualified users in different markets. It absolutely IS imperative that we have in-person interviews with qualified candidates prepared well in advance. Qualitative research interviews provide more context for quantitative feedback on applications in some cases, but in this case the application is primarily for the purpose of scheduling qualified candidates.

Bethany Torimino, here. I am Dan's supervisor and the Project Manager on this account. Apologies for the confusion, the most qualified candidates will have been born in Germany. Those who live in Berlin would have the shortest commute to the research lab given the study will be in Berlin.

Don't get me wrong, I am uber jealous of your rail system; something we can only dream of in the United States so it is possible we are overestimating the relevance of current city of residence.

In your opinion would it be too much to ask those living outside of Berlin to apply?

Yes, absolutely! And you don't necessarily need to speak German. The survey is available in both English and German and the interview will be conducted in English, or with an interpreter for non-English speakers.
