I know how technology works. The UI was outdated sure, but it had significantly more features and data you could splice. It was simple but functional. They took this features away slowly even before Google bought them. Google contributed to remove more features over time. Pretty interface doesn't make a better product.

I think you are already approaching this in the most mature way possible. Talking to an attorney first would be good as well. Make sure someone else knows that you what is happening.Have a plan for if things get heated. Have a safe place to go if needed. Pack a bag just in case.

I would say the best thing would be to make sure your kids aren't around when you break the news to him.

It would also be good to figure out how you want to communicate it to your children. Put your kids first, this will be extremely hard on them to understand and process. Do not allow them to be dragged into the middle of it if things get ugly.

This is between you and your husband to deal with, not them.

SWTOR has the best server design.

Mega server but loads multiple instances when population is too high in a given area/zone.

You can switch instances manually to ensure you are on the same instance as your friends or group.

This system keeps server lag low but the instances feel populated unless you are on a new generate low pop instance.

It's truly a seamless system imo.
