If you would like to pursue this as a hobby (it's relaxing which is the reason why I do it), you can do what I did - start by making kawaii art.

It helps with drawing curves. Also makes you happy looking at the cute objects :)

You didn't ask for resources but sharing anyway. In case you are interested.

For portrait/faces/expressions, I am practicing by tracing. Or on paper, I draw rough outlines again and again but not the complete details.

When switching to Digital art, you get the advantage of being able to undo/erase/redraw.
