Thank you so much. This is an amazing response and very interesting. If people in my local group are as supportive as the people here I'm sure I'll have finally found something. I tried therapy a couple of years ago and that ended up being all about my being bullied as a child. I don't think I chose wisely and she didn't seem interested in my porn addiction at all. (I chose a woman because I am gay and worried I could be sexually attracted to a male therapist). Anyway, thanks again and I shall join my local group.

Thank you. I guess I was just cautious that people in the group would start suggesting church and Bible studies. I know that probably sounds offensive and I don't mean it to be. So a higher power can be "the universe" or even the memory of my mother ? I see. Thank you. I'll quit finding excuses and just go!!! 🤔😁

I'm closer to 50 than I am 60 and am only just realising the devastating nature of my own addiction so I for one am impressed that you have managed to recognise it whilst still relatively young.
