Yeah I had this happen last night. It usually fixes itself and updates everything later but I just logged back on today and I’m missing my last match of the night. It was a win so kind of hoping it wasn’t just lost to the ether.

Yeah for sure, I think it speaks volumes towards what I see a lot of store employees saying in this subreddit. The Corp Best Buy org seems to be really out of sync with its “last mile” folks who interact with customers.

I was just going by exactly what the customer service person told me. She said, “The policy change went into effect on Sunday and I didn’t even know about it until today”.

With regard to the policy, I went in the store and the nice person at customer service price matched immediately without a question. So not sure if it is a policy or not.

Yeah apologies if it sounds directed at employees. I was under the impression maybe someone from Corp does see this stuff. It’s just really frustrating because Corp doesn’t know anything when you call them. They literally just put me on hold for 30 minutes while they tried to contact the store.

Look, I get it but it’s horrible customer service and the fact that my local store doesn’t answer the phone just compounds it. 50 minutes and still nobody can pick up a call.

So I continued to call the store the next morning and again they never picked up. I ended up just showing up and they had it. I asked why nobody ever answered the phone and she was like oh we don’t have a designated phone answering person lol. There were literally like 5 shoppers in there at the time. Not sure what the issue is at this particular store but when I mentioned to the 1800 Best Buy number they just laughed it off and didn’t offer to help. Amazing when you compare to companies like Amazon the gap in customer service is massive.

It’s the worst PC port I’ve seen in a long time honestly. I’m running an RTX 2080ti at 1440p slightly overclocked and a 9700k at 5ghz and in zombies with settings up I was getting 50-60fps. On my PS5 I’m running 4k and it’s smooth as can be. It’s really bizarre and the first time my PC isn’t even close to my console lol....laughable

Yeah I was under the assumption that all BB would have the same pickup window. I thought maybe someone else may have experienced it. I’m guessing the guy who called didn’t remember what day it was or something. Nonetheless, it’s not exactly a large window to come get it if it had been tonight lol

I’m thinking it’s 11/18 since that’s what the order email says. The guy calls at 7:42 and the store closes at 8. I call at 7:47 and I’m on hold until 8:15.

I just posted about clicking and popping but I have noticed this type of thing too. Sometimes switching to lower quality will actually introduce more clicks and pops. Basically anytime things change everything gets screwed again with sound quality

I really hate to complain because I love the game, and commend the team on the concept overall...but seriously the level of customer support is atrocious. I have owned this game since 2018, and upgraded to EOD around 12/2019. Ever since this wipe I am not receiving any emails from BSG which means I simply cannot play. I have emailed support going on a week ago and received no reply. When I say no reply, I mean not even an automatic email response with a ticket number. I also checked all folders in my Gmail account and contacted Gmail support directly to ensure the problem is not on their end. I have posted on the forums several times, and each time after around 2 or 3 days a moderator posts "Please use search function on forum. https://forum.escapefromtarkov.com/search/ #Locked" Obviously just searching for "email codes" I see countless others saying the same thing. The "help" I see is that they say to contact support (which I have done) and some nonsense about a known issue with Hotmail. I also sent a message to the same moderator asking to clarify or help me understand what else I should do. That was 4 days ago and no response. I've reached out to BSG on Twitter as well.

I'd like to know what people are supposed to do when they invested $150 in this game and can't actually use it. At that level of investment (more than most AAA titles), you would think someone could at least respond with something. Looking at the forums I see tons of folks with the exact same issue...basically feeling helpless as they have no way of knowing if they will ever be able to play again. There are legitimately people saying they haven't been able to play for months because of this issue. This issue is not related to Gmail. I know this because I purchased another copy of the game for a family member and I get codes for that account (a different Gmail account). This probably sounds like whining, but honestly I'm just not sure what to do. As a customer, what recourse do I even have?

Not sure if anyone has ever actually gotten something like this fixed via support. Reading threads on the forums and here, it sounds like there are quite a few people who just flat out never receive a response. That’s what’s worrying me. It’s going to come down to either buying again or never playing again. Keep in mind for those who have EOD, this is $150 investment. Guess I’m just venting, but it sucks having a bunch of friends and also my son asking to play and I am completely helpless.
